Some installers are trying to push you into spending money you don't need to. Just get the adapters and you will be just fine.

Cool alright. I have one last question do you know how big the D3 is from corner to corner, side to side, and top to bottom not just the screen but the whole thing.

 

I have an 07 Altima and they don't make dash kits for my car so i'm gonna see if factory dash kit of an Altima with navigation will fit with the D3

Need a pic. I test drove an 07 3.5 and if I remember correctly you might be able to use the nav bezel. try using http://www.yournissanparts.com

They might have it. If not on site call the number they have good CSR's and might be able to find it. Also try metra. You'll have to google that one.

No, they were designed to work together. Works very well. The title of the post is about the D1/2 and it does suck with those two

Yes. When you unhook the harness from the OEM radio, your new hareness will plug into the factories. Just match the colors of the wires and you will be good to go.

yep tha bass is working and the stereo sounds good just really low compared to the factory

Check your SLA/loudness levels Trust me when I play cd's. I'm on level 3 any higher and I'm LOUD according to the wife. Same with Sat. Radio, has to be on 5. I sent you a PM with my number. Give me a call Btw 3:30 and 6:30 I'll be in mine.

When you say tried everything did you adjust the sound like i said in the other post. If so you might have some of the wires crossed on your connection. Is the Bass working?

AHH ok...well se will how it sounds. I did order dome 49.99 speakers from CF with the 15% and if i need some ill just return them and get what i need for 15% off.

CF should be able to get the Bezel for you. But I would try to get a Metra kit. (Better fit from my own testing the waters.)

BOSE SUCKS!

To each it's own my friend. I use to trick my cars out with 1000 watt amps and speakers,Bass you can hear a mile away. But that was when I was in my 20's and early 30's but now i'm 40 and use my Armada for family useage. I might get my own vehicle one day to trick it out again but my BOSE works well for me.

Anyone here change from the 100 to the 200? If so what changes did you get using the 200? Can you transfer numbers now? reception better? Thanks

Why wouldl I have to upgrade my whole system. I have:

Audio

 

AM/FM/CD audio system

Illuminated steering wheel-mounted audio controls

Six speakers

Auxiliary audio input

 

 

Seems like alot to put in a D3. I checked cardomain.com and owner of a 2.5 SE just installed with no other upgrades. I.E. speakers and amps. Yes, i know ill need the harness and stuff i found it at circiutcity for $19.

If you want the QUALITY sound that you would get if you had the Bose then that is what you CAN do. Some people piss on the Bose but I can not complain. You won't have to go to the extreme but adding something with a little more power (speakers in the rear and doors)would make a huge diff. Sometime you can catch a deal at CC or BB that have last years speakers for sale and they charge a small fee to put them in.

Just my $.02. But if you have the harness' then your good to go. You will have to go behind the glove box for the VSS wire.

I also will need the dash cover. I am getting nervous that i wont be able to find it and ordered it though CF and got 15%.

Can you post a pic of your dash. The non bose has the dbl din I believe.

Has anyone installed the D3 into a 07 Altima. Pics would be cool. I have searched but I have seen nothing. I just wanna make sure that the dash cover is out or it exist.

If you have the non-bose you will need to upgrade the WHOLE SYSTEM. Meaning speakers,amp and bass. You won't have to run new wires for the Speakers but for amps and Bass you will. Go to an installer and pick your poison. Good luck.

If you are still using the Bose Amplifier and speakers it will not only sound lower but the sound quality is also be lower as well. The deck has a circuit that was designed to work with the speakers and amp. Any time you change the headunit in a bose systems its highly recommended that you replace the speakers and amplifier as well.

Sorry but that is incorrect. I have thwe 04 Armada Bose system and mine rocks. Go into your settings and do the Following

! Turn loud on and max. (SLA)

2 Change the sound to your desire ie: Powerful,Vocal, (Hell I customized mine can't remember the other presets.) AW just do that and you will be surprised.

Thanks I don't really understand that but I'm sure who ever installs it will. I have one more question. Do you know if the factory bluetooth works with the D3 and does the steering wheel controls interact with the D3.

 

P.S. Does anybody know where I can get a D3 Installation kit for the 07 Altima, or is it not even being made

If you get the wire harness that is the colors you use to match up. If i am correct, If you have the factory BT then you will lose that feature. You will need the BT200.

I'm looking for an installer in the Philly area that can install my D3 with bypass, blue tooth, Navtraffic, camera, and front speakers in a 2000 Ford Expedition. My vehicle is already cut to fit a double din unit.

If your willing to travel I can HELP you install it. Just get your wire harness and din kit I have all the wires and connections needed. I can even get on Post (Military) and use the Auto craft shop. ($5.oo an hour).

It's on one of the plugs you took off the OEM radio. Use the instructions from pac and find the plug with those colors (MAKE SURE TO COUNT THE PINS) to get the correct connection. You might want to do this before you connect everything else. Go to CLUBTITAN .COM and search PAC Install. Someone has a pic of an install.

Do i just hook up the avic power antenan wire to my metra wire label power antenna.Is that wire 12volts.The manuel was sying hooking up a booster antena or something wat is that

I can't remeber if I did that or not. I just hooked up the antennae. It should not hurt. I just can't remember. knowing me I most likely did.

I love my phone, and I'd hate to have to change phones. I'm not going to send the Bluetooth module back to Crutchfield because my wife's Nokia phone works perfectly with it.

 

For me, I'm hoping Windows Mobile 6 might help the situation.

It's all razr/rokr/L1/L2 type phones. I have the BTB 100 and had the Razr 1st edition does not work. I was able to Auto connect with the Blackberry from Nextel. I tried to auto connect with the ones I listed and for some reason does not work. Talked to tech support from Cingular for 45 min no luck. Changed to Nokia E62 and I have no problem. I even tried my Son's Razr with Itunes brand new this year and NOPE!! The blackberry from Cingular should work Verizon Not sure.
