The 10% coupon(s) for EBay are targeted. They are not unique codes, but if you have one, it will show up in My Messages on EBay.

Another recommendation for 6th Ave.
They are an authorized online dealer for Pioneer
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/FindStore/Buy+Pioneer+Products+on+the+Internet
I purchased a Panasonic plasma tv from them in Sept. Like the above poster, they did call me wanting to add extended warranty and cables, but didn't push or continue to argue that I 'needed' the items when I declined. They are a great seller.

I'd love to know where to get the extension because I my XM wire is under my passenger seat and it is a dual lead, so I am not sure how to hook it up but would love to get it moved to there instead of using the antenna that came with the XM unit. I got MUCH better reception on my OEM radio with XM than I do with this antenna.
What type of vehicle is it? You have an aftermarket tuner with dual lead inputs and the OEM tuner has a single lead input?

My GM SUV did not come w/ XM radio, however I swapped out the Onstar combo antenna for an Onstar/XM antenna, used an extension cable and a smb female to female adapter to wire to the Pio XM tuner. Works great.
If you dont have the OEM wiring, I can get you the links for what I ordered.
Can You explain or show how you did this?
I am plaining on adding the PIONEER GEX-P10XMT to my system and wanted this mod.
The info for the antenna swap is here http://forums.trailvoy.com/showthread.php?t=38444.
Basically if you have a 2 lead Onstar antenna you can 'swap' the old 2 lead type antenna with a 3 lead Onstar/XM antenna.
You will need to widen the hole in the roof to do this. Not much.
DO NOT USE ANYTHING OTHER THEN A STEP BIT PICTURED IN THE LINK I POSTED ABOVE.
Reason I say that is learn from my experience. I was hacking away at the hole for about an hour and I decided to pick up the bit. Made it so much easier to widen. Took a couple of minutes. Good thing I didn't damage the roof which most likely will happen.
The new antenna has 3 leads (2 Onstar: Blue/Purple, 1 XM:Yellow). Since I did not have the stock wiring I took a 15 or 20ft SMB extension cable I bought on the internet.
Now my problem was this: I had a Male lead on the Yellow XM antenna wire and a Male connector on the Pioneer XM tuner. The extension cable I ordered came as a Male to Female cable. I bought an SMB to SMB Female to Female connector on EBay and plugged it in to the antenna side. Works 100% and I really never have drop outs.
I could have just bought a Female to Female SMB cable
this may work fine http://www.cdint.com/catalog/model/SBSB-174-20. Make sure the cable is straight, no right angle connectors.
The GM part # for the wiring from roof to GM XM tuner for a Trailblazer is 15235643
This is the same antenna that I purchased:

Hope that helps you a little bit. If you have more questions, let me know.

If you run EZRIDER from testmode. You can access the MSN Direct stuff, however, it just hangs there.

Search would be useless because he doesn't know how to spell.

I replaced the DATA.zip file that was in the first post and I'm having an issue w/ the next turn arrow not showing up in 2d mode. I'm showing a modified data of 9/8 on some of the folders when I view it. I haven't unzip'd or edited the contents of the file in any way.
F700 which was original unit (no blue dot) updated w/ pioneer fw update when it came out in july. The next turn box was always there before and after the updates. The next turn box IS there in 3d mode.

I got the F700BT through Ebay about 2 months ago w/ Live Cashback it worked out to about $438 shipped.
The cashback was available yesterday and I cashed out. You could always throw in a Square Trade warranty.

FWIW: mine cuts out during crank
That's dependent on the model of vehicle you have.
The radio starts when I turn the key to the accessory position, if I then start it, it's doesn't reboot. It'll still continue the boot process.

Well I called Pioneer on this issue today. They mentioned the upcoming (but no firm date) firmware release and told me I should wait for it. Nice.
'They think it may be done but are looking for a way to distribute it'
as stated by a tech at 7:35PM Eastern time. IE.
5 minutes after they close.
Click.
Dial tone.

Yea. You need to find the XM antenna wire under the dash. If it's not there get to the headliner area where the xm antenna is and try to follow the wire under the dash. Use that to connect to the Pionner XM tuner.
Since the antenna is in place you most likely have the wiring, if you do not, you can buy an extension cable and an adapter to connect it up.

Have you performed any resets on the unit?
-
Ya know I just noticed. When the car starts. It's at the correct time, it'll then change within 30 seconds. It goes back to GMT
-
No matter what I do, I cant get the F700 to keep the correct time. Auto correction will not function. I've manually set the time and it keeps on going back to GST. I've changed both the time zone AND the time. Each time I turn the car back on, it's back to the GST time and time zone. Any ideas?
I've preformed a button reset while the car was off and also reset to factory settings. All other memory preset functions work properly.
Install/Onstar Question

Moving the mute wire back to it's original location and doing the software bypass will fix the radio shutdown. Just FYI. I have onstar and I hit the button by accident one day, I didn't want to deal w/ the radio shutdown anymore.
