Nope. The new iPod Nano, iPod Touch and iPhones use USB now where the old ones used Firewire to charge. You will need to add a converter for about $30. I just ordered this one: http://www.griffintechnology.com/produc ... -converter.
Good luck

After reviewing these boards about integrating iPhone video into a D3, I came across this article. It appears to be both the authentication chip and the pin count/location together. (see this article: http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/07 ... eview.html). This guy comes across as an apple religious nut, but it sorta makes sense. Bottomline is that there is an authentication chip that turns on or off TV Out on the iPod Touch and iPhone, there is also a re-mapping of the pins.

New here, but have done a lot of research on RDS for other reasons. All of the aftermarket head units do NOT put the RDS chip in their products. On the flipside, all OEM radios have it. I am not sure if they were waiting for HD radio to take off or not (which is questionable anyway). Also note that the text stream you get from XM or Sirius is not RDS. It is a text protocol used in satelite systems. RDS is a chip in the radio specifically for FM.
does the d3 not charge the nano chromatics?

The Griffin product works great. I can'[t figure out how to get the Bose sound dock add on, but it works.
