1. did you ever find an answer to your battery draining prob? I'm having the same problem on my truck, batteries were too drained to start the truck (there's 2 batt's on my diesel) Dealer told me the batt's are fine, but there's a draw coming from the stereo, about 100 miliamps. Had the stereo installed for over a year, and it's just suddenly starting this? I also have a remote start on the truck that has also been installed for about a year. I find it odd that it just started killing my batteries....any suggestions would help! Thanks.

2. Steve,
I just installed my Avc Z-1 in my 2005 F250....it was super easy with a dash kit, wiring harness from Circuit City and wiring info from www.the12volt.com I have never installed anything electrical in a vehicle, so you know it had to be easy if I accomplished it without a problem :D I just ordered your bypass circuit, but have not installed it yet...just haven't had time. It looks like most of your questions have been answered, but just to throw in my $.02 I found the reverse wire by pulling out my fuse box and going from there. It was a black wire, with pink on it...but the pink was more purply than pink. I found at least two other wires that were black/pink, so I just used the one from the fuse box. The VSS wire, I just spliced in behind the wiring harness from the vehicle. I hooked up the AVIC's illumination wire to my dimmer wire, and it works fine....but again, I haven't installed your bypass yet (my AVIC is pre-June '06) And lastly, I put my GPS antennea under my dash. When I took out the radio, there is a bar straight in. I put the antenna on that bar just to the left of the air vent. It works perfectly =) In a couple of weeks I have to pull apart my dash to add in all the extras I recently ordered, hopefully that will go as well as the headunit install! Good luck with your friend's F250.

• ok, I'll skip the story and explanation....but I need a replacement rear monitor / camera input harness....i,e. "RCA connector 2" Any idea where I can get one? I tried the pioneer web site, but no luck. I sent them an email, but probably won't hear from them until at least Monday if ever. Thanks,

• Hi All, I'm waiting to get my Avic Z-1 in the mail, and I'm ordering all my accessories while I wait :D I am going to get a back up camera for my truck, but my question is, can I hook up two rear view cameras? I have a 27' camper trailer, and would like to put an additional camera on the trailer so I can see way back there when I'm towing/backing. Also, I found this "wireless" one on ebay:

I'm curious about the quality, but also notice it has audio capabilities... is there a way to hook up the audio to the Avic Z-1 too? Thanks for your help and opinions!
