i have a pioneer avic 90dvd navigation with pioneer touchscreen. i recently purchased CDNV 80mt (green disk) maps. small problem or maybe big. the system updated some stuff and then reset itself and im getting a inappropriate disc message. is there a firmware update im missing? if so which map dvd has it. when i was doing some research i found that CDNV 50mt has the firmware update needed but can someone confirm this

wanting to upgrade the dvd but having trouble on which dvd disc to purchase. i but the 07 avic d3 dvd but this doesnt work for my unit. wondering if the cdnv version is the one i need instead.

i cant seem to get this disc to work with my avid 90dvd. ive burned the dvd twice once with nero and the other with imgburn

i downloaded the new maps and burned them to a tdk d/l dvd using imageburn. burn was successful according to the program and when i entered the dvd with the 08 west maps, my screen tells me to insert appropriate disc. im unsure of what i could be doing wrong, but does anyone else have this issue using the AVIC-90DVD navi unit

btw i bought the unit used assuming i have all the needed software. the map disk i am using is the 03 maps which are way outdated

so what disc would i get if im running the avic 90dvd running 2k3 maps?

does anyone know the release date of the dvd? because im going to need to order it for my avic90dvd

how can you get bad burns? i havent got those with coping movie dvds or audio cds. why would that happen on this?

i bought a burned copy of the CNDV-70MTP and im not having any luck either. i dont know why my system doesnt want to operate with it. i get the pioneer splash screen and thats about it. after that i dont get anything besides insert appropriate disc. kind of stuck at the moment

They sell the 2007 maps on ebay for 20 bucks shipped.

ive been looking for a few days with no dice on the 2k7 maps on ebay. i just see a lot of 2k4 maps and some 2k6. if you saw some 2k7 maps please post a link. thanks a lot for the help thus far.

i downloaded that torrent already. my west maps has an error while im extracting them. of course im not happy about that, because it took me like 4 days to download the file. but my east maps are fine i think, i havent put them on disc but i didnt have an error either

im just looking for a more updated disc than the factory (out of the box) avic-90dvd came with. i have 2k3 maps at the moment.

i have a the pioneer avic 90dvd with the 6.5 inch pioneer touch screen (using cdvn 21 maps) basically i have maps that are about 5 years old. i found some new maps on a torrent website. i decided to download the maps so i can use them. i got a 8gig dvd to burn the media onto disc. i did have an error extracting the file from winrar but i was able to burn the file to disc. the problem im having is that the system will not recognize the file. im guessing its from the error i had. question: where can i get a more updated map from what im using? links, sources, anything! oh ya the file i did download was the 2007 maps.
