anybody using utorrent to d/l this file? I was just reading the rating tab and there are 4 comments stating that this rar has a virus.

im fiber optic also 25/15 are my speeds

Its all good I will keep the torrent open as long as possible.

Plus this will give me a chance to test out these Verbatim DVD+R DL.

My maps dvd (memorex) use to freeze when ever I try to enter a address and when it did work it only navigate to my home address lol.

Update as i suspect my orginal copy of the 2010 maps was too scratched up to function properly. New copy works just fine.

Yeah I do too, but I was just trying to figure out what brand of disc to use to avoid getting alot of coasters. My current disc is memorex but when ever I try to use the maps dvd my d3 acts wierd and freezes, but I think thats due to my disc being scratched up.

im at work now I will start the d/l process once I get home. My Net connection is 25mbps down, 15mbps up

Question. Does anybody have a recommend brand of Dual Layer Dvd to burn this new map update with?

I used Nero with Verbatim discs.

 

Now I am seeding both East and West for the next few days.

yeah i just reseted my d3 and burned the new iso using imgburn with TDK Disc works perfect i just lost my perfect eq settings but i can play with that again

i finished the east coast iso and seeding it im currently downloading the west right now

oh and i only need the east disk, do i need to download the west also for it to work and once done downloading what programs are good for burning it to a dvd?

ID use either nero burning rom or Imgburn works good to make sure your disc are dual layer and you burn at the slowest speed and verify the disc

first download utorrent http://www.mininova.org/tor/3000744 to get the west map. once you pick the map that you want click on the download this torrent then a box should pop up just select open with utorrent then it should start downloading the iso. I hope that helps I know what im doing but kinda suck at explaning things if i could i can show you i person better

Well i just wanna say thanks the first set of disc that you uploaded to the torrents and we had to make iso's then burn it works 100% i just got back from a 240mile roundtrip road trip using the new map and it works flawlessly

who ever is on cox is slowly taking the lead ahead of us!

 

speed on the west disk is going slow... plus I live in NY so right now its not as important to have so I will continue that one once the east disk is completed

i use to have cox hi speed cable it was okay fios smokes it any day, im only downloading the east iso right now

My upload speed sucks today... gotta love cable

i used to have cable i could barely upload 1.0mbps and i was connected directly to it. so it would have been even slower if i was wireless, but my sister i on limewire so thats prob slowin me down just alil bit im suppost to have 25mbps down and 15mbps up

i have fios connection but im using the wifi still getting about 2.0mbps upload speeds...

Mines is working also i forgot to add the Poi's Overlay thats why i thought my poi's wasnt workin but it works perfect

im using TDK DL disc that I brought from Office Depot to the person who said TDK disc does not work.

yeah i notice that my quick poi's are not showing up on my map anymore, but i was able to burn the maps using tdk disc but i wasted 15bucks on 5pk of memorex dl disc because of errors , so the guy is saying create iso's then rar it perfect program would be imgburn to create the iso's from disc then rar it.

hmmmmm. I tried what PT3005 said but when I reach the part where im suppose to "Open the Pioneer East CNDV_90MT folder and you will see the files, select all of the files right click and select poweriso and another menu will popup select Add To Image File..." I dont see a selection ANYWHERE. What am I doin wrong???

hmmm you didnt see a box open to the side? when you selected poweriso?

well what I did was install poweriso that was posted earlier on this forum and used the serial to activate it. here's what i did below

1. extract the rar file by right clicking on it and select extract to Pioneer East CNDV_90MT.

2. Open the Pioneer East CNDV_90MT folder and you will see the files, select all of the files right click and select poweriso and another menu will popup select Add To Image File...

3. Now Poweriso program should open up and you will see the files from the CNDV_90MT in the background but theres a box that pops up in the middle saying Save Image file to. I just selected the first radio button(.iso file) then below you can choose where you want to save the file to then press ok.

4. After a few minutes poweriso will create that iso image, so what i used to burn that iso was imgburn just make sure you burn at the slowest speed and verify the iso. Also Nero works too

i ended up using a Memorex DVD+R DL, i had no luck with the TDK. i am not really worried about what type of disc i am going to use at this point, can't get the stupid to start downloading with utorrent
