Hey IDT, sorry to bother you with this, but you seem to be the man to ask a question like this: Is it possible to get rid of the caller ID Pop up while on a call? We do not have voice dial here in Europe and no matter how you start a call (dial from contacts, dialpad or phone) you get the pop up which blocks the whole unit and all keys. In my opinion this is one of the most annoying things in the software, as if you are on a longer call, you have no chance to monitor traffic messages, enter a new destination if told so on the phone and so on. I appreciate some people might like

tested it and works you can do the same in the 2D section of SYS.txt Jörg

Nah - that doesn't work for me. I usually shut down on my XM screen. I can tell you that it ALWAYS works the first time after copying the files over in test mode. I'm not sure if that is any help - but thought I'd mention it. +1

Hey IDT, you are faster programming than we can test Some feedback on the 3.03.5 EU version anyhow: 1) I think I found the reason for the reboot at a certain location: It must have to do with the format setting for the coordinates in local settings. I choose a different one and no reboots anymore. 2) The problem with the 3D view sometimes not beeing direction up you can forget about this. When you press a softbutton in 3d it sometimes also sets the cursor, causing the Map to act weird when you go back to the map screen. Pressing the Map button solves this. 3) Thanks to

Use the CE Image from your backup, there are a lot of wrong images floating around, maybe you can just use your Flashdisk and replace only the modded files with downloaded ones. then you should be good Good Luck Jörg

You propably tried to install 2.09 over your mods, depending on the mods this can brick your unit. Use this: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=25424&p=173323&hilit=dismount#p173323 step by step to get your system to a clean 2.xxxx. I hope you have your flashdisk backup (without the mods) on hand. Once you have done this you should be able to install 3.0 See you Jörg

Hi Sven, unfortunately found a few more bugs: 1) When trying to get the current speed my system reboots 2) The clock is somewhat fxxxd up: Sometimes it gives only the hour like 22:33 comes out as 22:__, to me it look like a font size problem 22:41 came out correct, but 22:44 didn't. I can't remember, but is it normal behaviour that we get signposts while not on a route? Hope you get your car back soon, so you can look into it. Overall still a very nice one if you get it working. Mybe you want to have a look at IDT's Mod, he has some nice things like the Multiplan and the speed

Hey Svopstal, looks nice in the Emulator and is definately one of the cleanest and best mods AND it is tailored to the needs of European Users! Have installed it and have some feedback for you: 1) I can't see the sky in the 3D view, do I need to add anything to sys.txt? 2) How do I toggle between north up, direction up and 3D while on a route? 3) When I get a speedcam warning and tap on it, it will cause the unit to reboot. 4) Tripcomputer is useless, it's not working 9 out of 10 times anyway. I would only use it,if it is reliable and the data is saved and continued on a reboot

I also used this mod as a starting point; then I - added the tripcomputer. - added housenumbers. - added simple euro speedlimit sign. - added gps-status - moved the 'next street' to the bottom, placed it under 'current street' - did some small cosmetic changes. That looks great, only thing missing ist a TMC shortcut and the link to download it! Jörg here's a screenshot (from the emulator)

Hey jr_00_22 , i like your Mod a lot, nice and clean ánd keeping the 3.0 look, which in my opinion improved a lot from 2.0. Just one question: When on a route, how do I toggle between north up, direction up and 3d ? I know I can have it automatically switch between 3D and 2D through the overview mode, but sometimes you need to do it manually. Thanks for your work again Jörg

Hey IDT, after using your mod for a couple of days some feedback: I'm very happy with it, so the bugs are just for your info, not meant to be critcism at all! By the way I'm using v3.1 with a stock 3.0 and have only edited your SYS.TX to make TMC working on my EW device. The only addition ist the Poicon database for speedtraps, hence the stock solution we got for free here in Europe. BUGS 1) House numbers are on the wrong side of the street 2) Trip computer not working (as the data is not saved it's useless anway) 3) 3D view is sometimes not direction up 4) To be hones

The Problem is, that in a Number of European countries you are required to have your Headlights on all day. So the illumination wire does not have any effect for us here in Europe. I found this in a different IGO forum and will try it out once I have time. Couple of questions/suggestions: 1) How do I quickly access "last destinations" from the map screen? 2) Any way to use one of the unused buttons, e.g. speed Limit to access the TMC event screen? Had that in a mod I used in 2.0 and loved it. 3) how to change the Speed limit button to European format? 4) Over here in Europe there are a lot of countries where you have the headlights on during the day, any chance you link the day/night to the backlight, so it dims not dependend on the headligh
