I Think over 200KM you dont see anything from TMC anymore. So if you display a route from Frankfurt to Cologne you should at least see small Symbols, for shorter routes you see the Motorway in Red. The bad thing is you can't select TMC Messages which are on your route, you can only display them by distance from your current point. That means you have to scroll trough all the traffic messages which are in your urban area to get to that long jam on your route 50 kms ahead. Again a Bug and they say this can't be fixed rgds Jörg

but over here we call track up the "womans setting" as women are usually not that good in reading maps north up. I would go crazy with the map rotating all the time, for me north up is much more intuitive especially when looking for shortcuts in heavy urban traffic where the routing is useless as it doesn't get TMC information. never mind Jörg

Just got a mail from Pioneer. I had asked for their comment on 19 bugs which I had identified. They say it is definite that two of them will definately be fixed (Boot time and restart on every engine start), 3 of them may be fixed (freezing of the left bottom window, no distance for next turn given, frequent recalculation of route) All other Bugs are according to them within the specifications of the Unit and will or can not be fixed with this device, but may be when they release a new head unit.
