  1. 1) Navigation does not always take you via the best route
    2) Re-routing is retarded in memory navi-mode. It is never the best way.
    3) Scrolling through MP3's takes FOREVER
    4) User manual says that you can have different EQ settings for different sources (Radio, MP3, DVD, etc), but that doesn't work
    5) Sometimes the touch screen can be a pain in the ass and not always work right away.
    6) The rear source can only show DVD or Navi. Would be cool if it could show DVD or whatever was on the front screen (ie. rear cam or something).

All and all though I'm happy with it, and the more I use it the more I like it.

  2. I have had the same problem too with the VC1. Mine is mounted on the right side though. Even if I take it off and put it right in front of the HU it still won't work.

I finally figured it out though. There are 2 modes for the remote. One for Audio and one for Nav. You push the top button to switch. Unfortunately there is no way of knowing which mode it is in w/o out playing with it.

Take a look at the user manual for the remote to see what it does in each mode.

  3. Does anyone have any generic background images that just say Pioneer?
I like the ones with the carbon fiber, fire, hot chicks, etc, but I don't have a Mustang, so it doesn't work for me.
Maybe a make some cool templates and then we can add our own text/graphics.
    Thanks.

  4. Ok I have a 2004 chrysler crossfire, should be the same as a 2003 mb slk 320.

    Any ideas?

Did the stock radio have the "gets louder as you go faster thing"?

If it does, the VSS will be wired into the radio allready and will be included in your vehicles wire harness.

Is that the case for all cars with that feature? My Yukon had that. Is there way to test?

Thanks, that would be great if this worked.
