I don't own an ipod so that's why I'm asking

I own a F900bt.

If I connect an Ipod to it with the original CD-IUV230V Pioneer cable, will it (the ipod) do this:

- Turn on, when the Avic turns on

- start playing from where it stoped

- turn of when the avic turns off and paused the song until the avic turns on again

??

or do i still have to manually turn on/off and press play/pause on the ipod?

the best thing i see with f910 is that it has an optical out for external DSP

Lol, if i have to pay for it i'll first wait for some 10-20 reviews to see if it is worthed.

When I try to make a call, the connections breaks after it starts dialing.

 

Any ideas? I haven't checked yet if incoming calls work.

How do you use it?

How do you start it?

If I understand correctly...I drive around and than somehow transfer some files from the Avic to SD or USB and plug it into computer and I will see my drive report on the NavGate FEEDs?

I need a quick tutorial...can't find anything about it on the internet (how to start it, what to do on the Avic, what to import and from where to NavGate FEEDs).

After updating my F900bt, the USB doesn't connect when I turn on the unit. I have to unplug it and than plug it back...

kinda irritating...

i got it working. it was my mistake, i canceled the download accidently so the avic didn't download all of the contacts.

works great now with the 1.9 update

It says in the manual that there is place for 400 contacts.

I have 261 and when the transfer completed, the last 51 didn't transfer.

Any idea why?

It wasn't random 51 so there is not a problem with this numbers but the last 51....

No solution, it just sucks...

And I was so happy to get a 8gb SDHC for free with my F900bt...just to find it useless...

Will the firmware be released for European models ?

My SD card does the same thing, but the longest song I have is 11 minutes long. Switch to Ipod, and problem solved.

no, lol, they are called "sets"...DJ sets...from 30 minutes to 8 hours long...

I noticed that when I turn on my 900bt, it's starts playing the same song on the USB/SD it played when I turned it off. But the problem is, that it starts at the begining and not at the moment when the unit was shut down.

The connection is ok since all the radio stations stay in the memory and it does start playing the 30th song for exemple (doesn't start at the start of the USB/SD), but it's stupid since I have lots of 120min long sets and I always have to start listening to them from begining...

Today I tried watching some music videos on SD card.

They play ok, but the unit is laggy as hell if I control it with steering wheel controls. Any button that I press takes action about 10seconds later...

is this normal?

Not true. I have mine on the dashboard, on plastic without the metal pad and it works perfect.

they are all without the land code...and so far all but one worked fine when incoming call..outgoing call always shows name.

Is it possible to connect either the deq-p6600 or the p7000 to the avic900bt to use it's crossovers and time aligement features?

I installed the unit today.

When calling people from contacts, everything works fine. But when receiving calls, some contacts names doesn't apper, just the number. Why is that? It's a European version, all the contacts are saved in the same way..
