Super low contrast.. fine except in the bright sun it can be a little bit of a pain but this is any lcd.

Boot time. this is fixed in 3.0.

I lost my nav mute button when i installed 3.0. It's been so long since I did the first mod i lost all my code i added to the data zip.

Does anyone have the code to add a nav voice mute button the main screen with 3.0? or a already modded data.zip would be better

I ordered the update for $68. No serial required. I figured buy the update, Copy the sd cards and see if it works, then return the originals.

Call me a scammer or a theif but pioneer is the real theif for releasing a bastard product that is full of bugs.

The f90bt is not worth getting. As soon as the Kenwood DNX9140 comes out I'm going to scrape up the funds and pick me up one. The unit is amazing.

 

the f90bt had a lot of potential and initially I thought I made the right choice. I would soon live to regret that decision.

F90 can be has for $550 now and DNx9140 will be $1500+

Hmmm... Navigation is crap but other features look very inviting...

Garmin is pretty good at getting you there.. 9140 if I can get it for $429 new the same price as my f90bt... otherwise sticking with what I got

check your wires on the back of your unit. something sound messed up

Guys - those who got this camera - is it a reverse image one? It doesn't say on their ebay page.

crackling sound from my speakers either means they are all blown or you did not hook them up correctly... if thats all good you have a bad f series and need a replacement.

go to google maps and see where your house is and i bet your off a few houses. it's nothing to do with pioneer it's the map provider

I think its in the parrot hardware.

 

I had a parrot ck3000 carkit in my other car (Pioneer uses parrot) and it was the same hardcoded ringtone

it is possibly in the root apl folder has other parrot data but i cant find the ringtone.

does your avic have 2.0 firmware with the bluetooth update this is a must? and unless you want to try 2.2, or try another phone,or try another avic, one is the problem.

I am extremely new to hacking and modifying my unit...so I apologize if this is a dumb question...but what exactly is this data.zip file and how to i get to it. Thanks in advance for the help.

spend the day reading the hacks/mods section of this board before you attempt any hacks.. you need to know alot more before you begin to touch your unit

use 7zip to open image.res as a archive and edit.. works great

Once i got the INI file changed, what is the process of getting it to the SDcard, such as...Do I put the whole data zip file on the sdcard or do i unzip it, then put it on the sdcard, or is it just a certain file from the data zip file i put on the sdcard? The once the info is on the SDcard how do i go about installing it on the stereo? ANY REPLIES ARE APPERICIATED.
