  1. does anybody else have minor issues while the system is booting up towards the end? For me, after the splash screen the next screen is the settings screen, then its stuck on that screen until you press anywhere on the screen, that's when it goes back to normal screen (whichever you left off on). Also, sometimes the CD/DVD player gets stuck or stutters.

  2. IMO nothing major with the update. Sure a tad faster response times, even bluetooth. I doooooo get presets toggle with my steering wheel. For those who have the Audi MFSW, if you press rather than scroll, the left wheel/switch, it will toggle through the presets on AM/FM. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you see it, toggling between presets is only one way. No up and down.

  3. she asked if I had an account. I told her I registered my unit. Then found me. I'm thinking they will link the S/N and data together. Or they must have included something in the sd cards so it can only be activated once. something along those lines. although, i can be completely off.

  4. just got mine. smaller than i expected it to be, lol. like really small.

update: tried it out, works flawlessly. CONFIRM THAT IT WORKS WITH IPHONE 3GS!! The only problem is that it kills the phone battery!!! Also, as far as sound quality, it's probably one notch below cd quality, but way better than fm quality. I figured i can just use the Iphone as a remote to play the songs i need whilst outside the vehicle.

  5. just placed my order as well. By now she already knew, didn't even have to tell her what the order was. I don't know if it was corina, but she sounded hott. Lol. $65 shipped + tax = $70.. i'm good with that, considering I didn't pay no where near the msrp for the unit.

  7. i would gladly pay the intro price of $70, if the new map updates will recognize that fact that my house isn't 4 houses from where it actually is. Its not like i live in the middle of nowhere. I live LA county for avic's sake.

Most likely this problem will not be fixed, and here is why.

Map data base using by navi doesn't actually have GPS locations of everything address of every house because that will be a very very big data set. Instead, it only has GPS locations of every street block at the begin of the block.

The navi then assumes each block has 100 numbers; thus 100-199, 200-299...etc., and devices the block into 100 even pieces. So if your street, like mine, has only 30 numbers, and if you live in the last house of that street, the navi will think it reaching your house when it is only 1/3 into the block.

Works when I use Tom Tom using Leetlauncher. FInds my house exactly where it is.

  8. Can you copy the 2008.4 downloaded maps to the CMH-all in one folder. Then put that in the sd card and load it automatically? Or do have to load the CMH-all in one into the unit first then go back and copy all the contents of the building, poi, maps after loading and rebooting the cmh files?

  9. i have one. pretty simple install, you need to the the double din cage conversion, if you're single din. YOu need the metra fascia kit. you need the pioneer double din cage install kit. you need Connects2 to get steering wheel controls to work. It also connects reverse, illumination, and vss. So far the only problem i have with my F90bt is that the navi thinks my house (only my house) is a couple house away from where it really is. the unit is slow, but not that slow. max 1 min for everything to connect including bluetooth.

  10. my unit only rebooted 3 times. twice when an ipod was connected and I interrupted the vr initialization. The last was when no ipod was connected but the usb was still connected. Before I had the usb disconnected no problems with that setup so far. This is only me and I have the f90bt unit, soldered with bypass hardwired, using the connects2 for mfsw.

  11. its official, the map thinks my house is 200 feet away than where it actually is. haven't tested any other address on my block yet, though. It's not like I live in the middle of no where.

  12. also note that every time I launch leetlauncher and use TT7.91 everything is on point. When i switch to avic it sort of gets more accurate. Weird, i know. But if i start with avic maps first, then it's inaccurate
