Just wanted to say thank you for the help provided here. With your help I installed a AVIC-F900BT in my 08 Corvette with Bose. I purchased the radio and adapter harness (GMOS-04) from Crutchfield soldered the harness to my new radio and plugged it right in with no problems.
The radio synced with my iphone 3g with no problem and downloaded my contacts. My entire cd collection is on a 16gb SD card that works great.
I was able to do the software video bypass with no problems and works great.
