  1. I plan on using the AUX input for my factory DVD. I already have the wires set up and it worked with my AVH-P6500DVD HU. I'm wanting to integrate my Zune w/ video for playback on the Z1 screen. I just thought that since you can run a DVD changer through the IP-BUS there would be an adapter to run video. I swear I saw something on this forum about six months ago while lurking here.

Another idea...anyone ever tried one of those video switcher units and can make a recomendation?

  2. This may be of interest here if you're willing to wait for a couple of months...ipod or other player.

The site says it will have full video and music compatability. Only thing is it looks like you won't have in dash control as the Z1 does now but it will have it's own wireless controller. I'm picturing controlling your MP3 player on an AUX video screen or something where it would display your MP3 screen directly onto your in dash screen.

    We can only hope.

  3. After several months of lurking around, I've decided to devote some money to upgrading head units again. Thinking of the Z1 for all it usefull features besides navigation. But on that note...anyone here have any info on using the nav here in HI? I've read that Pioneer navs are the only ones that feature a nav database for here. Used to have a Pioneer DVD in-dash installed and hooked to the factory DVD system...was sweet!

Also, I own a 2005 Pathfinder with the BOSE system. BTW, one of the best factory systems I've heard. But...I want more. Anyone had any luck replacing speakers and leaving them to run on the BOSE amp? I'll try and think about replacing the rest of the audio stuff after the $2500 Z1 update.

    Thanks
