The disk on the this site bruned my UNIT (AVIC N4) Caution to anyone downloading the disks! It will costs you more than the $120 for bran new disk! Don't reck your unit for $100 like I did!

Just did the bypass as showed in the images, and it worked perfectly! My unit was manufactured in January 2008.

How did you reset your unit to go back to an older version??

I know it is in the service menu and you need a remote but can you tell me what you selected in the service menu??

Does anyone know how to reset the unit to the factory seetings in the secret service menu?

I loaded the discs that was posted by JLONG and now I can't do anything with the unit. Since then I have ordered the Discs from Pioneer.

But the discs from pioneer still dont help. My only option is to reset the unit back factory settings in the service menu. I logged into the service menu but I don't know what to do, any body out there know how to do this ?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I was informed that there was a firmware update for the NAV 4.

Just curious if anyone knows where I can find it.
