  1. If anyone wants to play around with a digital tuner to connect to their AVIC, the price and voltage are right on this one:

Just don't expect to be able to get a stable signal while moving, but it should work okay for watching TV during your lunch break.

I don't need one in the house, but you can get 2 gov't coupons free so I figure I might as well use them on a toy like this to play with. If it doesn't work out, no huge loss.

Did you buy it? Does it works on the N1? Or it only for home tv's?

  2. Any digital TV tuners on the market that will work with the n1 and is cheaper then $299.99?

The tuners for a tv in your house is only $40.00.

Please let me know if you have any links to other brands that might be cheaper.

    Thank you

  3. Ok I have a n1 in my car. I can watch all my local tv channels with the over the air antenna. So you keep hearing about all the channels going only digital after February and you need a digital converter box for your home if you use rabbit ear antenna.

Question. Can I use the same converter box they are selling for homes with the N1 and the OEM n1 tv tuner brain? Or is pioneer going to make one? Or another aftermarket company?

Any info would be great. I would love to still be able to watch tv in the car after February.

    Thank you
