I am going to buy the avic-d3x and i just remembered where am i going to get the power for the bluetooth module? i have a mustang gt 03 and if where did you guys place your mic. thanks in advance

and how does it save it on the hard drive? does it save as a compressed music file like for example mp3 or does it copy as the way it was burned? i dont remember the file name which music is buned to cd

will it rip music from cdrws?

take it easy..... i just think thats hardly believable, that would just be an map update which you can buy on a dvd and i doubt they would release a new product with simply that. There are brands adding new features and integrating bluetooth such as kenwood and i dont think pioneer wants to "passed in the race" and there has been alot of complaints about the ipod connectivity so i doubt they would fix that or make it integrated like the d3

so whats new on it? all the specs are the same that i see are the same

does anybody know if the z3 has the light color buttons feature like the d3?

Thanks by the way did you install the ssv cable? do you know how to remove the arm rest? i was planning on buying the avic-d3x and thinking of placing the bluetooth adapter under the headunit and passing the ipod cable below the arm rest sothan i could put the ipod inside the arm rest

thanks but it doesnt help me much it doesnt show the d3 connected to the car, but this i mean the wires. i know how to take everything apart my problem is just connecting the wires and also probably passing the gps antenna to the top of the dashboard

i have tried searching but cant find nothing with d3 and mustang 00-04. do you know his name so i can put it in the search... i was going to have it installed but they want around 250-300 and i think that i could do the job if i have a visual idea

I have a 03 mustang with mach audio system and i was planing on installing the d3 on myself but was wondering if there is a guide out there that can help me out installing it. another stupid question if somebody could explain me better about bypassing the amps and why its needed, i had 2 different idiots at circuitcity that told me 2 different things lol. ive been browse through the internet and i found this metra PR01-1770 it says that it is a harness for pioneer to ford, would this work for me? i dont feel like splicing my pioneer wires.

does the avic z1 read cdrw cds? also does ir read normail recorded cds? thanks

but doesn't this model already have the 2 crossovers built in? if it does i dont need the bass blockers do i?

i see you really know you stuff and i really appreciate your help. Im not going to need the reverse wire i don't want the camera but the speed sense sounds like a good idea. so for example for the speed sensor i connect the harness to the orange strip thats on the pcm. one more question the harness is just plugging in the head unit and into the car or i have to cut wires? thank you

and when you told me to reverse the wires do i really have to do this to work? and those wires are from the harness or from the car? sorry for making so many questions but i dont want to screw up so im trying to find the steps on how to do it
