from the first time i set my unit to shuffle all it automatically goes back to it once i turn on the unit. even if i selected no shuffle. its annoying cuz when i'm trying to listen to an album continuously it just mixes up the order and it sucks

is there suppose to be a separate power antenna wire for the x920bt. i have the f90bt right now and i was going to try and use the same wire harness and while comparing it seems that there is a system remote wire but no separate power antenna wire. i have a car with a rear window antenna and need this function.

how would i go about installing the new harness should i splice the power antenna and amp remote wire to the system remote wire (white-blue)?

would it be the same for an x920bt?

will the old ipod cable work with the new x920bt. it has video and sound inputs so it should work fine right?

has the website with the downloads been disconnected? and also do i need to copy all the previous updates to make the final version work on can i just put the final version on?

idt. is there anyway you can post every file that is suppose to be on the unit? i can get the audio stuff to work but the navigation is not working at ALL. and i cant pinpoint why the navigation wont load and or show the actual map

got it working i just need the map files so it can actually display a map. which files are they?

idt which files are used to display the maps. i kinda wiped the majority of the stuff on my unit being inattentive. so i got everything back but the actual maps don't display. no matter which mode. just let me know which folder. i tried transferring everything from the apl2/igo/content folder but had no luck all the .dem files are there as well as the .fbl

turns out my remote wire eventually went bad. and my speakers directly connected to the head unit dont play so i know an internal fuse is bad. all my wiring was checked by an installer of 10 yrs. so i think the amp shot a signal back and fried it. but my remote wire works so F it ima still use the unit

i know this is all over the place about making backups. i did but i have no idea where i saved it. yea i know its stupid. but anyway does anyone have a copy of the entire 3.0 software? when i transferred the hacked version of the "my flask disk i transferred the entire folder instead of all the sub folders. so only the modded stuff got transferred.

guidance to the right forum topic is much appreciated as well.

i redid the wires and still having an issue now there is just no sound. i going to have another person look at it tomorrow

even though the unit turns on and all the functions work fine?

so i finally get my unit back after 2 weeks. and the same exact problem. they changed the pre amp fuse but why is it that when i connect my remote wire to the headunit to turn on my amps that it cycles the power on the headunit. wtf is that?! I was having issues with distortion coming from the speakers and now the amp wont get out of protection mode can i please get some help here.

I am so ready to take this unit and do a mexican hat dance on the HU.

this unit is great when it works but geesh, will it ever work?

another cool thing i found is that when i disconnect the radio antenna the radio shuts off and doesnt turn back on until i plug it in. SCORE!! this keeps getting better

i will be recrimping all the wires when my unit gets back

i sent my unit in and they recieved it last monday. i still havent gotten any response back all i get from pioneer is that its in repair. so if i ever get the radio back i will see if they fixed anything

i just tried another radio and its giving the same issue i am starting to believe it is the wire harness.. other than that it may actually be my factory wiring. which i really hope its NOt!

it does it for every type of media but only on my powered speakers the one from the harness work fine

well i sent the unit out so hopefully i get it back by thursday and check. but i wiggled wires and recrimped everything. so when i get it back i will see what the diagnosis is. and work from there. i did see the rearview camers wire come out the harness so i will fix that when the radio gets back. thanks for the advice

is there a way to have the unit play the music while in a phone call? an ATT on it automatically? i know the z3 does it but can our units be provisioned for it? I have dont the hardwire bypass would that be the reason why the feature doesnt work if it exists? let me know if anyone has done this already. or just point me to the appropriate forum please. i have done searches but its kinda hard to search a sentence.

i know this sounds irelevant but have you tried turning your ipod all the way up. i had the issue with other pioneer radios using aux it may just need to turn up on the ipod because it isnt amplified as much as the other inputs

do your speakers play good for a few seconds and then crackle out until they just wont play and or jump back in? mine sounds fine for a while meaning 1-2 minutes then just craps out. it will plays the high but the low frequencies just come in and out whenever they want to. mine isnt affected by the headlights though.

I am having the same issue. If you find info out on this let me know as well. I have component door speakers and my woofer doesn't play all the sounds its suppose to but my tweeters stay on no matter what. and it glitches from side to side as it chooses, continuously.

also i use to have an rca grounded which took care of the noise but now even if it grounded it makes no difference. when my rca's touch female to male they spark.

I just installed component and powered them by amp. but the problem is the signal between the rca's are mixed up when i use my front rca's and turn off the sub woofer from the head unit the subs are still playing. and when i plug in the rca's into the front door speakers amps it gets this huge interference where the sound comes out all distorted. It is not engine noise. I had previously had an amp that powered a speaker but i had it on the rear terminal rca's. anyone have any idea whats going on? also when i plug in the rca's there is a huge thud in the sub woofers which arent connected to the same set of rca's

vr catalog is off. i drive quite frequently and i believe only once in the last couple days has the ipod played after 20 seconds. I drive about 1/2 before the ipod turns on and then another half before the phone connects. total startup is like 1:15 but i got 50 something when i timed the ipod last

is anyone having ipod start up times around a minute? with the msn 4.3 it has been waiting for the whole unit to load before its plays the ipod. when i leave it on cd mode the music takes like 15 -20 seconds.
