+1 I can't get the correct time to display no matter how I approach it.. I thought about going to -5 time zone instead of my normal -6 timeszone for the time being.

I thought I had posted this last week but I can't seem to find my post.

I wanted to thank you for your work on these knobs. I installed mine and then forgot about it until a couple of days later. I was driving to work and reached over to turn up the volume and was amazed at the difference. I am completely satisfied and think that frankly Pioneer should have made the knob like this to begin with.

Ok.. I've done some searching and I haven't turned up what I am looking for. Can someone help me out here? I too am a graphic designer and want to attempt this theme thing. I don't have a problem creating the graphics but I can't for the life of me figure out how to decompress and recompress the .res file. Can someone point me towards the application they are using to open this file so I can get to the images?

Why am I getting double posts when I try to post?

In the US all FM frequencies are on odd numbers, ie. 97.1, 97.3, 97.5 etc. 97.0, 97.2, 97.4 cannot be tuned to.

Not sure what you are creating your graphics in but check to see what aspect ratio you are using. Are you using 4x3, 16x9, or square pixel? On a computer monitor you should be using square pixel. 4x3 and 16x9 are used for broadcast and video tape graphics.

Itunes requires video to be in an mpeg 4 (.mp4) or H.264 codec...avi's, and .mpg's won't be recognized as video in itunes.

You are correct. YOu can also play video from USB and iPod with that bypass as well.

Yeap.. I have an iPod Classic (60 gig with video). I was able to intall it, use voice command, play video, play music, everything that I could think of anyways. I forgot to turn off the VR Update and when I started my truck this morning it reloaded the library again.. needless to say I corrected that issue right after... I have way too much music to want to sit through that every time.

I just installed (yesterday) my F90BT into my '07 Dodge Ram 1500. I don't have photos yet, but all in all it was a clean, easy install.

My factory radio had a sirius tuner, and I was able to use the Mopar OEM antenna already mounted to the roof with the new Pioneer XM tuner I bought. Just removed the plastic clip on the connector and it plugged right in.. works like a charm.

I mounted the GPS antenna underneath the top dash piece directly under the windshield. It also is working well.

I haven't decided where to mount the backup camera yet, but I am thinking about in the middle of that plastic spoiler on the tailgate.

The only problem I am having is uploading my Conacts from my Sprint Mogul Cell Phone. I can't seem to get the darn things to upload in the First Name Last Name format. So far all I have been able to do is Last Name, First Name. It works.. But it is a pain to remember to say "Call Smith John" instead of "Call John Smith" I am sure that my problem is a limitation of the phone or of the cell phone's owner.

I didn't install a HD Tuner.. can't decide if it is worth it. I haven't heard HD Radio, so I am not sure I am missing anything.

Ran the iPod cable into the glovebox. Typical install. I seriously considered installing it in the fold down mid seat compartment on the front seat.

Since we cannot seem to answer your question here on the forum, maybe you should talk to a local installer. I am sure they would be happy to help you sort out your leads and their connctions. Most installers, when approached without attitude are happy to help you.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by a red tail light effect.. can you describe what it is you are looking for a little more please?

On page 7 (regarding blue wire) it says

Do not use wire for antenna booster.

Actually it says do not connect the blue/white lead. (should be blue with a white stipe)

The Blue lead is a whole different wire. (solid blue)

My apologies for my error. However, I don't feel I was abusing the new user.. I was agreeing with him on his statement of it being a stupid question. I believe he took it in the tongue in cheek manner I delivered it. At least I hope he did.
