You don't have to use 2D. There is functionality in 3D that you want but you go and figure it out.

There is another thread that had some updates on new models and software upgrades but that's all speculation at this point.

It's not up to Pioneer to fix the 2D things because they use 3rd party navi software. If they didn't care they would not release updated they did.

Possibly. Like Avic, and many many other devices, they try to cram way too many features in which leads to a device that does many things with mediocrity.

Probably will work just fine. That's not that big of a release to change the functionality. Besides if it doesn't work just roll back to old version.

While on the subject, did you retain same ignition behavior as stock where Avic stays on until you pull the key out?

There was a thread here few days ago where someone with similar vehicle said that their double din was not a true spec so some modification are needed.

Just a normal CD that you would burn on you computer. Same method as SD.

I believe you can load then with a CD as well if everything else fails.

That's kind of defeating the purpose of having the overall system sound...

It's a moot argument for me as I've made my own blank sounds. I know it worked when I tried a while ago.

Use 3D. You can tilt the view so it's straight above, zoom out to your liking and if you turn off smart zoom it won't mess with your tilt setting.

If you have the 90bt, it can be done without hacking. Just go to your settings, navi settings and sound settings. The beeps are the master volume slider.

That'll affect Navi side, not all the dings that happen elsewhere.

That doesn't sound normal. Has it been like this since you purchased it?

Yea I get that with Avic and when I tried it with the OEM iPod connection in a loaner I got from Audi recently. Everything works OK though.

Write this in your sys.txt. The ding should go away.

I never connected mine either and I have no issues what so ever.

You are not going to be taking that car places where you would be losing GPS signal so you should be OK.

Sorry for the ignorance, but do the F90BT and the F900BT run exactly the same software, so that a F90BT owner might expect exactly the same update?

Yes. Apple does this as well.

Don't expect much from the unit and you will be fine. A lot of people hate it because not all functions/features are perfect. With few mods you can make it way better than stock.

Double check everything you've done then check again.

Here's the data.zip with changes already made. It's been set to 256 which is in KPH which equals 159 MPH.

See above post for location on where this needs to go, Backup your original file just in case.
