  1. This is not post to complain about it and was unable to replicate it since but yesterday on my way home I was checking out smart zoom (I never use it) and after the light turned green I noticed that the map is slightly zoomed out, more than usual and it was not moving with me but the arrow kept going

So I kept watching it and the map would zoom out where needed to keep the arrow on the screen and the arrow just kept going and it was correct and represented my true location. I was on the phone at the time so couldn't take a photo. After I pushed Map button it reset itself and it was OK from that point on. It made me laugh more than anything.

  2. I've only removed the headliner on a B5 S4 and that was a pain. The fabric that covers is looks good but it's very fragile and easy to leave your hand impressions on it and get the fabric wrinkled. Not worth it if you ask me. I have B6 S4 now and my GPS antenna is in the glow box and in the GPS info screen it says High accuracy which is good enough for me :D

  3. I would absolutely switch to the theme phpBB provides. it just always works better than the ones someone else made. I've used xand in the past and discovered that it was causing issues with slowness and not posting properly. There was always something that it was not doing right.

I've also been using phpBB3 since the first RC and I love it. They've improved and streamlined a lot things. I look forward to the change.

ON the side note, I'm getting ready to switch the forums to phpBB3 on our car site as well.

  4. I'm sure this is going to get wide range of answers but for me the best and non destructive way is to use damp microfiber towel and gently clean the screen and while it's still wet use a dry one to dry the screen.

Since you are not cleaning the actual LCD but rather touchscreen glass I don't think you can do much damage but if you do use products with alcohol it might permanently streak it. I've seen people do this on our old $25K imaging monitors

  5. Parking brake on when parked?

That should not matter in this case since it doesn't look like he hooked up the parking brake at all.

No offense OP but "problems" you are listing are quite possibly all operator errors.

First you have to address the parking brake issue by properly connecting the wire to the parking brake switch or doing the bypass which is a lot easier then focus on your other issues.

Have you paired your phone first before trying to use it?
