If you just hardwire it in SYS.TXT than it will always be on (or off). If you want to be able to toggle it you need a settings screen for that....
just found out that the setting is already there, i went to look at the route setting and it has the option for you to be able to turn it on/off
-
this is for 8.0
-
the arrow doesn't snap to the road, like the one Borism did, i just don't know if it'll have the on off option like the ones Borism have,
-
just tried it and it works,

has anyone played around with this values? my problem is everytime i use my USB drive and have to nuy something lets say at 7/11 i have to unplug it then plug it again when i start my car, i don't know what those values represent so if anyone could help me out it would be very much appreciated
-
hey leet,
after running iGO from your launcher i noticed a couple of things, the bluetooth won connect, and whenever i'm on the av screen, when i click the map button on the lower right of that page it shows the old map not the 8.3.2 version
-
is this no longer a sticky?
-
hey ski can you sticky this
-
so any updates?
-
UPDATES: 01/21/2009
LeetLauncher v2.0.5 - LeetCoder
IMPORTANT NOTE : The first time you run this IGO 8.3.2 software, you will need to wait at the loading screen for at least 5-10 minutes. It will look like it is frozen at the screen "initializing warning", but it is not. You just need to be patience. After this, Igo should be able to boot up very quickly.[/b]
To get IGO8 to work with AVIC software, launch IGO8 first in the beginning. Now to go back to the launcher you need to press MENU to minimize IGO8 ( the screen will look like it is frozen). Now you can press DOWN direction on the knob to access the Launcher again. You can now Launch Pioneer AVIC software. Wait for it to load fully. After AVIC software is loaded you can access IGO8 through pushing the MAP button through AVIC software (you dont need to go back to the launcher). It basically replaced the original IGO software for the session.
is it possible for iGO to boot up first, i mean, can it skip the whole process stated above so that your pretty much running iGO 8.3.2 everytime?
-
so anyone can help us out? can someone with a fully working 3d map post the name of thier DEM file, the one i have on mine is NorthAmerica_low.dem and is 176 MB.
-
so anyone here that could help out? or atleast post up their DEM file so i could try it on my unit,
-
Here is the problem: despite that the file "dayheightcolormap.bmp" exists in "Ui_pioneer" folder, I cannot get the 3 dimensional look of the terrain. I have zoomed my 3D map all a way to the end, and I have got the map picture which is jagged at the last top quarter of the screen (please see the attached picture). Looks that the part of the map picture which is approximately positioned at the same place where is supposed to be "blue box" is simply "disabled". There is no details above one very straight line. For your info, I do have Igo8 om my PDA and this 3D terrain feature is fully and nicely shown ( I am living in a "mountainous" area). I suspect that Pioneer disabled this feature purposely for some reason (memory usage or so . . )
I would be verry happy If you have any explanation or fix for this problem.
Best regards, Bob
Thanks again Boris.
There is the fix for the landscape problem. Actualy, the DEM file which I have in my IGO 8 (for PDA) did work in my Pioneer unit. I have replaced the original DEM file from Pioneer with that one from IGO 8. It works perfect - all landscapes, mountains etc. are now nicely painted and visible. Pretty much realistic 3D scenery of the landscape. Even more, the horizon line that I see trough my windshield has the same shape that I have now at the screen of my F700BT unit.
Best regards, BobD
anyone have this same problem? can anyone post their DEM file
-
new here, i must say this launcher is one of the reasons i bought my f700, one question though, i was wondering if i could just use the launcher without all the other stuff, i only want to be able to go to testmode and the avic without having to reboot the unit, and also if it possible, lets say i used the launcher and went into testmode is there any way i could go run the avic without having to reboot the unit,
keep up the good work leet
-
hey guys, what would happen if i put all the mods on the firmware update before updating my F700bt? the thing is i already returned 2 F700bt's because it ends up just rebooting everytime i put all my mods, on this third one what i'm planning on doing is mod the data.zip file on the update and then do the update? anyone have done this before?
