  1. FYI if you have not purchased your 3.0 update yet for the F series.

Crutchfield.com is selling the update for $59.99 which is HALF of what Pioneer is selling it for on their website.

I just went to Cruchfiled, and they are out of stock. :(

UPDATE: I just ordered from 6ave.com and got the update for only $51 no shipping or taxes. :D

  2. I just installed my HD module and ran into the same problem of being able to store HD presets, but not seeing them on the preset list.

Oh well, I'm just going to hope that someone from pioneer reads this and gets it fixed.

One question for you though, Can I add a "Splitter" to the antenna and run one side to the HU and the other to the HD module so I can retain the MSN radio?

  3. Did you calibrate your screen before going into test mode ? i had that same problem and i had not calibrated my screen yet.

I'm having trouble getting the "FILE" "EDIT" and such menus to drop. I'm guessing that I need to calibrate as well, but my question is, do I use the Calibration on the Front end, or the one in control panel of windows?

    Thanks

  4. Please forgive my ignorance, but I have a 03 Mercedes with a Bose fiber optic system.

I bought the F900BT and understand that I CAN NOT use the MB Bose amp.

I have been told that I CAN wire the HU directly to the Bose speakers.

There are 4 front speakers, door and tweeter, and 4 rear, door and tweeter and 1 sub.

I think I have read that the Bose speakers are 2 Ohm each, so my question is can I wire the door and tweeter in series and make that "Set" of speakers 4 ohms and then it would be safe to wire them directly to the HU and not require an amp?

    Thanks
