I had this issue with left channel I changed the cable it worked for about 2 weeks. I checked everything the only thing that would fix it is unpluging the usb connection and reconnecting it. This only worked for a short time and then i would loose the left again. I finally reinstalled everything on the Ipod with Itunes and have not had a problem for months.

I had the same battery problem in my Buick Rendezvous. Parked it at the airport and when I came back battery was dead. Happened twice in between having Buick replace the starter which was not under warrantee. Took it back to Besy BUY and they said that Scosche had a defect in their units. They replaced the harness no more problems. Just because Scosche sent you a new one it does not mean that it still was not one of the defective ones.

Have the 10/8 MOD installed. Great job as always. Used it this weekend and missed the voice alert for speed cam. I do not look at the unit all the time and would not know if a speed cam is coming up without the voice alert. Could you put that back and make it so if you want it off you can turn it off. And to go a step further could you do the same for the speed limit voice comand. My eyes are on the road in front of me not the nav unit. Also one more thing when in non nav mode could you add the next cross road coming up to the top section that shows the road your on like Main Street/3RD Street with 3RD Street continually changing to the next cross street. Hopefully the cross road would show up larger so it would be easier to read. Thanks.

1. This is a tough one. I figured with the advanced set of tones that this would be enough. The problem is those audio files are about a 1.5 meg and really make the file huge. As you can see I am already at 11.5MB. On top of that I am not sure how many people really use them. I will look into it. I know there are a lot of scripts that go with the spoken warning but I am sure I want to put them in. Let me do some investigation.

2. It has not been done for the speed limit. That would have to be written as far as I know.

3. That is not possible unless its a directive while navigating. I think the intent is to have the map at a scale where you can see the next road or even two directly. I think this is why many people do not use the 3D mode. The 2D mode offers this much better than the 3D mode.

#2 AND #3 were wish list items not important. #1 I really feel is important and hope you can include in next release. Thanks for your consideration.

I would like to add this theme to my mods. Could you post the files needed and directions on how to add to Diaftia's Keeper mods. Mainly interested in the IPOD screen.

I just installed your latest update and you are the man. I asked you for a speed display, that us 60+ guys could read, and you exceeded my expectations. Did not get a chance to try any other changes but this alone rocks.

I would like to ask for something else. Could you possibly publish directions on how to use speed cams, and all the other additions that pioneer did not add.

Just a few questions please:

I edited the RealView ini files and found that changes had to be made in the Icon and Other sections only is this correct?

If I want to add other schemes I would make the same changes and copy the zip files to the

APL2\iGO\CONTENT\SCHEME?

Also, I do not have to add the GFX folder you supplied again because it is already in the APL2\IGO?

Schemes are independent of the Country so I can use the RealView in the US?

I have read this post from start to finish and am very confused on how to add the schemes, mainly the Real View V6 schemes, that BorisM posted. I think there are a lot of contradictions all through the post. I am not complaining just trying to understand what the correct method is to add schemes with associated files. Again I am mainly interested in the RealView Schemes. I have in the past followed Diaftia’s instructions successfully and would greatly appreciate it if you would please post instructions, like Diaftia’s, to add schemes. Please use the RealView files as an example. I do not want to screw up what I already have. I am sure there are other users that are ashamed to ask this and sound stupid but how else can I learn. Thanks BorisM for all the help you have given to this forum. Without this forum I would be totally lost.

I assume then that since I live in a non populated area and am using the pioneer scheme my screen looks white as VS color for the land portions. Thanks again for the great mods. I am looking forward to the updates.

I just installed your latest mod update they are great. I guess scheme friendly means no scheme added.

Could you either add the scheme and clip-planes.ini that you are using to the mod or post separately with instructions to add. I do not want to screw up what I already have. Also, for all of us in the over 60 club could you make the realtime speed display about twice as big. I know it is added work for you but it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for your mods.

OK. Not a problem but the older you get it becomes easier to look at a number. I have found using previous mods for 2.0 that my speedometer is 2 Mph slower then the actual readout on the NAV unit. It just would be nice to have and in a large font. I would do it my self but I do not know how to so I depend on you guys.

For Fred2yu - Do you have 3.01 installed on your 90BT.

If not did I make a mistake puting 3.01 on top od 3.0. Do I really need 3.01.

I want to install Tail24 MOD but do not know if it will work with 3.01

When I first purchased my F90BT 12/08 I used Maverickster's Mods and have been running with it up to the 3.0 and 3.01 update that I did. I lost the soft bypass and all Maverickster's Mods . I really loved what you did. Is their any chance that you will update to 3.01 and issue the mod again. If so please let me know where I can download it. Thanks again.

Can you supply a 3.01 URL.

If your car is more then two years old and is used every day I do not care how many batteries you have it could happen. Especially if your HU is working and then one day, all of a sudden, it goes to blank screen when starting your car. Another indication is after you experience the blank screen and then you drive your car awhile and then restart your car and the HD unit works. Believe it, I saw it with my own eyes.

I would say it is not a good thing if the HU looses voltage and gets a blank screen when the operator is in the middle of installing a mod, making a configuration change or selecting something to play. In my case it just would shut down at startup with the blank screen. Once I ran the car a little, thus charging the battery, it worked fine and did not reboot during a session. Replaced the car battery and everything was fine. MODS and all.
