    I found this on this forum:

     

    I was monkeying with the system, and discovered I made a mistake when I hooked-up the front channels to my amp. The RCA's for the front channels were being pushed through the amp where I mistakenly set the amp's crossover to low-pass. Obviously the Bluetooth and navigation sounds weren't going to fall in that range, so they didn't get passed out to the speakers. Once I correctly set the amps' channels to high-pass, everything started working just fine.

     

    Can this solve my porblem?

    Hi Everyone,

     

    I've been on this forum for some while now and used the IDT mods from the first version. I've an f900bt updated with the 3.020200 firmware, but my bluetooth connection wasn't working anymore since i updated my avic to 3.0 some months ago. I'm ably to pair my phone (HTC Diamond) with the F900BT, but I'm not hearing any sound when I've received a phonecall. Also the mic is not working (was working before updating, the mic is not the problem). My radio/navigation sound is stopping when i;m receiving a call, so that's working properly.

     

    I know that it's not my phone because everything was allready working before the 3.0 update.

     

    I already tried everything that I could think of:

     

    1) Reinstalled the 3.0 firmware

    2) Updated to 3.02 firmware

    3) Installed 3.0 firmware back

    4) Reflashed WinCE

    5) Removed all User Save/ Setup files

    6) Removed User settings via settings panel

    7) Restore factory defaults.

     

    UPDATE:

    8) Downgraded to the 2.0 firmware

    9) Updated to 2.009 firmware

    10) Reinstalled 3.30R3 Bluetooth firmware

     

     

    But still no succes..>!

    Does someone know what I need to do to fix this issue? (I want this to work.. !!)

    Has anyone an idea for me?

    I've looked for some microphone settings in the Control Panel of Windows CE, but it was not there...

     

    Can it be possible that this is caused by updating Windows CE for the 3.0 update?

    I've the 3.0 firmware installed and bluetooth is working, but I can only hear the other person when I call someone (or receive a call). I looks like everything is working except for the microphone (critical part if you ask me !! )

     

     

    I also saw that the Microphone AV settings was on 'Mute' and not able to change. The settings was grayed out (not enabled).

     

    I'm really sure that my mic is properly connected because it worked until I changed the firmware to 3.0. Then bluetooth also stopped working but I fixed that by reinstalling the bluetooth firmware.

     

    Can someone help me to enable / un-mute my microphone?

    Sorry for the delay in posts on the skin. I been a bit busy here. The skin is still incomplete & you can download it in the skins. I am still working on the skin but at a turtle craw. Updates will be posted when i get something going again on this project. So please keep i mind that it is incomplete.

  12. Bluetooth Software Missing

    Hi all,

     

    My unit is full of bugs and I've sent it to Pioneer to get it repaired multiple times. This very last time I sent it in and while I was running firmware 2.0, they updated it with 2.06.

     

    2.06 is working fine, but my bluetooth isn't working. I found out after I made my first call and the unit will not hang up the phone and froze. I checked the BT software version and it says "version not found". I tried to download the latest software from the Pioneer site and when I try to update it, it'd stuck on the "....do not power off, please wait...." for 40+ minutes.

     

    I've tried the update multiple times and fed up with it. Is there any way to update the BT without sending back the unit? I think I've paid enough shipping & insurance to buy myself a portable navi.

    NOTE: ive allready tried deleting the usersave and user/setup directories.......

    I also tried this and it did not work for me either by only deleting the files in those folders, but i solved it by deleting the whole MyFlashDisk /User folder, this will be created on the boot. It works by only renaming the user folder then you also have a backup of your data. :)

    I have the same problem, I lost my bluetooth software. I tried to move the userdata files first and after I deleted the whole MyFlashDisk/User folder, but after the reboot the result is the same: NO bluetooth version displaying.

    Dear Galadrill, could you explain your words: "It works by only renaming the user folder then you also have a backup of your data"? What should be the new name of the USER folder? I tried to rename it, but after the reboot i got the USER folder again.

    Could anybody help me?

    tommern_nor was talking about renaming the USER directory just for having a backup in case something wents wrong...

     

     

    But I didn't have any luck removing those user settings directories. I've also reinstalled the EU version of 3.000300 (viewtopic.php?f=34&t=26625). inclusing the WinCE update... but again... noluck.

     

     

    Has anyone another idea how to get bluetooth working again???????

    Really want this to work... Thanks for the time!

  22. WINCE+Format Or No Format?

    I have been tirelessly reading all of the post about updating to 3.0 (then 3.01) and the GREAT instructions says NOT to do format but others do use the "with format" option. My V2 has been through considerable mods and is working well but I am hesitating which update procedure to use. Is the one WITH format okay to use or should I just use the standard update?

    I updated my F900BT using the files from the next thread(1):

    viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25751

    And used the APL / APL2 from the EU Deck thread(2):

    viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25743

     

    I updated the WINCE with Format, copied the files from thread(1) to my Flash disk and copied the apl/apl2 from thread(2) over it.

     

    This worked for me!

    He suggested getting a bluetooth update off the forum (don't even know if there is one anywhere here) and try that.

     

    I tried this allready.. I also removed my user settings / data, but without any succes
