    Voice Files

Below are link to the English TTS voice files. Download, unzip, copy to SD, copy to Primo folder in My Flash Disk.

    Other Files

For those of you who would rather launch off Diaftia's mod download the files below and copy them over "my flash disk". A small icon will appear on the top menu upon startup, simply tap it to launch Primo.

    zip.gif Primofordiaftia3.6.rar 226.81K 77 downloads

    Ryar

I have recently returned to the site and am glad to see it is up and running again. Thanks for all your hard work (and others).

Can I just confirm what I need to do to add Primo 2 to Diaftia's mod - do I need the main download and the Diaftia additional download (it says this in post #1 but not so clearly in #2 above? The link for the main download appears to be broken - is there any chance you could repost it?

    Thanks

    Richard

  2. I can't seem to unpack this archive. I start with part 3 but then I get the following message:

    need following file to continue:

    avic f900_700_500 ver_3.000301(part3).rar

That doesn't exist in the file list - because the file names have been changed I think. Is there any way to unpack these files with the new names?

    Thanks

I got this to work by:

    1: Making a copy of avic f900_700_500 ver_3.000300(part1).rar

    2: Renaming the copy: avic f900_700_500 ver_3.000301(part3).rar

    3: Making a copy of avic f900_700_500 ver_3.000300(part2).rar

    4: Renaming this file: avic f900_700_500 ver_3.000302(part3).rar

5: Then start with avic f900_700_500 ver_3.000300(part3).rar as before.

It might also work by just renaming the files (i.e. not taking a copy) it but I did not try.

  3. I don't think 2.005 changed much more than EZRider itself, so if you load the old patched one in, you've pretty much rolled back the update.

In any case, I've posted a link to a patched 2.005 version of EZRider...

BorisM - thanks for the file (info for others: search for "ezrider 2.005" for link)

wicked - it seemed to work as you said so thanks as well (didn't have time to drive to Germany to test TMC....)

  4. Whats the problem with the 2.005 update and the old ezrider.exe?? As mentioned in another post. I have no problems with the old one. Everything works fine.

2.005 firmware contains changed EZRider to fix a TMC bug in Germany.

    BorisM and wackid

Puting these two ideas together: I read wackid as saying that 2.005 works with the old ezrider; and BorisM says that ezrider was changed for 2.005 in order to fix the TMC bug in Germany.

Therefore, as I am in the UK and don't want / need the German TMC, it may be that if you use the old ezrider with 2.005, you can get to use the updated maps but the TMC won't work.

It must be worth a try. I guess the worst that can happen is either it does not work or that the other TMC code left in the firmware causes other instabilities. I'm off to try.

A proper cracked new ezrider would still be good....

  5. Matt

Thanks. I will try updating the maps. I will have to move back from firmware 2.005000 as I understand this has a different Ezrider that has not been hacked. Are you using 2.001000 or 1.900000?

Apparently 2.005 has also been patched recently. I'll ask the author if I can repost it here.

    BorisM

That would be great. Not suprisingly, rolling back firmware does not seem to be something that any has done. A cracked ezrider for 2.005000 would be brilliant.

    Thanks for trying.

Thanks for your mod's - they're great. One issue that I have is that the speed limit data seems really haphazard. I know that this is likely to be the maps but it is really weird. For example, on the A38 north of Bristol, going north the speed limits shows either 30 or 60mph but going south it (correctly) shows 40mph. Do you have the same problems in Swindon? Are there newer maps? Or have I corrupted something?

  8. Ok, I tried the 2GB card from my cell phone and it would still give me the same message. If i open up the Flash disk and highlight all the files in there, and then open up my SD card and paste the files, it works just fine. Is that ok? Am i still copying all the files this way?

I hae just realised what you were doing wrong - as I have just done it myself. If you highlight My Flash Disk and do Edit and Copy and then highlight SD card and do Edit Paste it does not paste in to the SD card but to the root directory of the HU - which does not have enough space!

As you have found, you need to open the SD card first and then do Edit / Paste. Then it copies it into the SD card.
