Ok I have a 06 trailblazer LT. I have installed an Avic F90BT with the XM reciver and a BOYO rear view camera which was $150...ok so the dealership is going to give me a trade in value on my truck with and without my avic system...HOW much should I be getting extra for my system?so what's a good price for them to give me to keep my system in rather than taking it out??? Ok thanks to everyone who responded...im just goin wait for 3.0 ..sounds like the results of the 2.0006 aint worth the time to update.

Ok Im all confused again..I Pre-ordered the 3.0 from Pionner for $60 and now theres this 2.0006 update out. Whats the difference and since i bought the 3.0 should I even upload the 2.0006?????

Ok i hooked up my extra wire that was purple and white to the purple and white connection wire on the unit and then hooked that up to the red wire.

I get nothing. I tested all wires and they are good then i tested the purple wire that comes out directly from the unit.

THIS WIRE WAS GETTING NO JUICE EVEN IN REVERSE>---I hooked up the wires and turned on my Avic and put it in reverse and got nothing. I Then put it in the rearview mode and get no camera in all gears.

I Checked everything and dont know what else!!! Help Man

If i just turn my car on and wait till it starts up..Then just go into reverse should my camera automatically come up B/c it doesn't. I have to go to rear view. So what your saying is that you can only have one or the other. By connecting the reverse wire then my camera will only work in reverse and by connecting it to a constant supply then i will not get the automatic camera turn on when i go into reverse. What worries me is that why my camera does not automatically come on when i just go into reverse?

I Installed my boyo but i have some questions. When i put my car in reverse i don't get my camera to automatically came up. When I go to rear view I can not see a picture unless am in reverse. This makes no sense to me. The guy from Boyo said something about only being able to do one of the options ( automatic camera view when I go in reverse OR rear view when am in park or drive.) Like i explained earlier am not getting either or. Is this true?

I hooked my wire to my rear taillight reverse signal. Is this wrong?

I have looked everywhere and can not find where a reverse wire or the color of it anywhere. I hooked my back up camera to my reverse taillight and I am having trouble with it. So im trying to find out where that reverse wire is that is in the front of my vechicle.

I drive a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer and I have a Avic F-90Bt. I recently purchased a Boyo VTL 300 and have installed it with no success. This is what I have done , can some please tell me what my mistake is?

1.Installed Camera to the licenses plate and ran that wire all the way to my head unit.

2. I then connected the adapter and plugged that into the yellow plug which says rear back up camera.

3. I then grounded the black wire

4. The red wire i ran to the back tail light and hooked it up to the reverse taillight wire

5. I finally went to system settings and turned my back up Camera on and tried both options GND AND BATTERY.

When i go to rear view i get a black screen with a warning at the top which says the video may be in reverse.

Please HELP!!!!!

UPDATE!!!! O Crap!!!!

Damn i was hooked up to the rear moniter output and not the rear camera plug!!!

HUGE PROBLEM -----I plug it into the right one and it now works but is stuck on the camera. When i put it in park or drive the screen goes black except for the -Caution images may be reversed. IS there anyway i screwd my unit by accidently hooking it up to the rear moniter plug. PLEASE HELP.

I let it sit and now it works but when i start my car it goes to the black screen again with the caution but eventually lets me go to my map and etc.....To get my camera to come on I have to go click on rearview and then go into reverse. It doesnt do anything when i just put my car in reverse from the start. I thought you could view your trailer while you were in drive and park. My Screen goes to black in these gears when i go to rearview.

I could not figure out where the reverse wire was so i ran the connection all the way back to my taillight wire for reverse. Is this wrong?

Thanks alot so all I have to do is buy that GEX-P920XM and connect it to the back of the F90bt and get the service and then ill be ready to go? So even though they have merged they are 2 different services. This device is for the XM which in your opinion is the better one CORRECT?

I know everyone on here already knows the answer to this but i have searched the site and I am very confused. I have a F-90Bt and want Sirus/xm radio in my truck I know I have to by the box but which one is it the GEX P10XMT or the GEX -P20XM box? Is it even worth buying this ? B/c i see alot of stuff about Mergers and Bankruptcy so I am kinda scared to buy it b/c i dont want to lose my money if it isnt going to work in a month.? or should I look at maybe the HD Radio? Please fill me in and yes i did search but the more i read the more I get confused so if someone could just help me out I greatly apreciate it. Thank you

I have a chevy trailblazer with a avic f series. I orginally had a avic d3 but it was stolen . I have been reading about this stealth faceplate that someone has posted. I want to do this but I do not want to break my orginal chevy radio. Is there any place that someone knows about that sells the faceplates for chevy radios

Ok I have a 90Bt and I have been trying to upload Splash screens for 2 hours and im getting really pissed. I have Sd Card(ScanDisk 4GB). I found a bunch of Splash screens I liked and then saved them in a PICTURES folder. I made sure they were all 800X480 and then placed the card in the unit. I keep getting the same damn message about the Picture folder.Getting really frustrated PLEASE HELP!!

I saw this wasn't answered----Is there anyway to change the background on your CD,FM,IPOD , not just the start up splash screen?
