1. i have noticed my z1 doesn't play any sound when weather goes about below 40 degrees, not sure if it is the deck or the PAC unit that hooks up to the factory bose amp & speakers. I have a Avalanche, I don't think it is the bose system cause I never had this problem with it the factory deck. Only using RCA.

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2.
I noticed that you have extremely blue xenon fog lights. What brand did you use and can you link me. I have had three different brands in my car and none of them have worked how I had hoped.
Do you have a Avalanche???

I got them off ebay.

8000k is the color, I luv them, they match the headlights.
3.
May be a stupid question, but have you gone into your address book and physically checked the names and phone numbers to see if they downloaded correctly? I can't see how this could happen without having an improper download, duplicate number for each of them, something silly like that.
I say check them as well.
4. I have a 2003 Chevy Avalanche w/ factory bose system, my installer hooked up the Avic-Z1 w/Ducati circuit, the wireharness Metra VT-GMOS-04 with absolutly no problems. There is a orange wire on the harness that connects to the harness on the car, I wasnt sure if it would work, but they didnt run into any problems, I gave them the lil drawing that ducati made & they didnt call to say hey it didnt work or anything. Now when i drive i can watch dvd's, change routes in navi. only pop-up I get is wheneva I start up the unit I get this navigation warning pop-up, click ok & good to go until I turn off the unit.

- Make another folder and name it "Fluff" or something similar
-- fill that folder with more pictures or files that brings the total size of your CD over 100megs
Not necessary.
I'm gonna add a topic to the FAQ regarding adding pictures. For those that have done this successfully is this a correct assessment:

1. Make your pictures the following resolution 2592x1305 or 500x240
2. Put the pictures in a folder called "Pictures" on the root of the CD
3. Burn the CD with no multisession and make sure your finalize it
^ Used this method & worked perfectly, no Fluff files needed.

As for automatic headlights and HID's and not wanting to flash them, I also have all of the above in my Lincoln Aviator. I tried flashing my headlights a couple time to make sure the procedure worked and then I designed this circuit:
http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 66&start=0
So I wouldn't have to flash my headlights anymore. Now my circuit "does it for me".

oh, my bad, i thought this procedure was for people who have your automatic flasher... sorry

i will be getting your flasher as soon as i order the z1.

thanks for the detailed info.
8. this really isnt a good method for people who have Hid's, plus it will be a pain in the ass.

*edit* well if you can put parking lights on it wont be a problem, but in my case I have automatic headlights in a Avalanche & @ nite i would flickewring my hids, no good.
