Which color scheme are you using? Some of them tend to make stret names invisible except when very close in 3D mode... i don't remember, ill try switching that around next time i take car out. never thought of that. thanks what theme seems to not do it, so i can try that

wow i just posted about this, not sure if its mod related or not since i used this mod before i even drove the car with radio lol.

i noticed street names don't show up till i about pass the street, is this normal or is there something i changed? i am running cmh's mod. yesterday was about the first day i acutally got the car out and drove with map on and was a lil disappointed if this is how it works by design. thanks brian

where did you see this firmware update? i dont see it on pioneers site edit - its for EU peeps

vehicle speed sensor - tells the radio if your moving or not with/without gps signal who ever installed your radio should have hooked it up

2002bluewrx - i'm from MICHIGAN here too! i used the 2008.4 maps and somewhere i found newer pio's (or atleast i think they were newer by file size) - gota remember where i found them now lol.

no newer maps - look in the thread of mine 2008.4 i posted where to get the newer maps

you sure its not just hanging from updating the speedcam database? mine took a min or 2 when i updated.

i used my test light to push pin out.

YA THE INI was set as 1, i didn't have time to check sys last night - ill check today when i get home from work.

i tired it last night with no probs other then i noticed my 3dbuildings stopped working for some reason though.

I Just copied and paste the 2008.4 usa maps over my old ones along with the poi/buildings

goto nav settings (i think off the top off my head) - about - maps

in "about" section thingy there is a map button - push it and it will list all the maps and version #'s
