Hey Ryar, Any idea how I can get Primo to auto start with the Radio rather than going through al the Avic screens?

I had originally put this I had put this request under Ryar's AVICnet 2.1 thread, but got no answer.  I am hoping someone here might know.

What I am looking for is to have Primo start automatically, rather than having to go into the AVIC / Navigation menus to start Primo.  Any ideas?

Still looking to know if someone can tell me how to autostart Primo.

Don't have an anwer to your problem, but can you tell me of a good link to download AVICnet 2.1?  Every one I've tried doesn't work.  Thanks in advance.

Just tried the link in post #557 2 above this one and at least the multi link  is working.

Anyone know how to autostart primo so I don't have to go through the Avic - navigation - primo dance every time?

I think I deleted all my old avic files but I will pull it off my unit and upload it hopfully in the next week or so.  In the meanwhile if anyone has the latest rar file please upload it and post the link here.

Does anyone have a cope they could make available of the latest AvicNet 2.1 from Ryar?

I am hoping that starting a new thread might get some lurkers to help.  I got a new unit for another of my vehicles, and when I tried to copy "My Flashdisk" from one device to the new one, I am now just stuck in an endless bootloop.

Anyone able to help?

UPDATE: I was able to find a copy I had on an SD Card in the glovebox of my wife's car so I therefore do not require it any longer.

They are dead for me as well....

I finally re-uploaded the release v3.4a to the 4shared server by re-instating the more popular Chrome interface, both in the MainMenu, Phone, A/V and iGo8 sections. Download is now updated in post #1.

Got it working with an SD card. Strange, but be because of my cheap Chinese knock-off iPod cable. Thanks again for your post Chuck, at least now I got it working.

 

Hey fusion600, as for the sound, read back a couple of pages and you will find out why. You have to have either iPod, SD or USB music playing to get sound from Primo.

Yeah thanks Chuck, but I did use my IPod. (I haven't tried SD, or some other USB yet).

 

ryar, you deserve everything on all those findings and it is a pure pleasure to give full credits to you, and thank you for the new command (double-taping on MAP button).

 

Just FYI to ease future changes, I move and rename the Primo\Extension folder to iGo\Extension\Primo, so everything that are needed are under that folder, so the Primo folder will be standalone (except the Primo SYS.txt file) and modifications will be made only the the iGo\Extension\Primo folder.

 

I will upload my mod v3.4 when I have a chance!

I know I am late to this Primo game, however, I am looking forward to your update. THanks Guys for all the hard work.

I can't get any sound out of it yet, but I am sure it is just me.

I will probably just wait for Chuck's new Mod.
