Finally after 6 yrs I am dumping this AVIC Z1 I had the screen replaced once during that time when the touch sensor failed. I hate that I wasted all that money when it came out, the maps are so out dated and its just a waste now

 

with that being said i am installing the new 940 tomorrow how close are the harnesses in terms of colors of wires etc. I remember installing that Z1 was a real pain and i want to limit wire chasing etc

mine is doing the identical shit right now anyone have anything new in the last yr

i know this is old but what was the outcome of this, it seems mine has shit the bed stuck at OK screen only plays cds or radio station, cant change tracks or anything on XM nothing on the hard buttons work either.

 

POS cant even last a few yrs for what I paid for it

Im new to this stuff. id love to see something with a ridgeline on it maybe with one of those girls and thier asses that are in the custom gallery :)

I have a white ridgeline RTL I have a avic z1

if the thread starter can do that Id be very greatful

its going in my ridgeline. any hints or helpful advice

great info. im shopping the best price right now for my z1 im currently subscribed to 1 yr of xm with my factory unit in my ridgeline so im glad i can use xm with the z1 plus the dvd features for the kid will be nice

Ive been battling back and forth forever for a in dash nav unti for my truck

 

im tossed between eclipse avn 6600 and the z1.

 

anyone wish they went with a diff unit? and why?

 

 

ive what I can tell so far. Boot up times are longer and u cant pull music off your HD on to a cd then load in on your unit

 

unless I am wrong if I pulled all my cd's that i have loaed on my computer onto a data disc am i correct in saying I cannot load them on to the HD of pioneer.
