  1. hi i have avic-f700bt and i never up dated my maps before can someone please help me on how to update my maps

    thank you

    Hope this helps.

    1) I downloaded a new image from the post "FX3.1 Complete Firmware"

    2) I opened the zip file from the image and replace the folders of Maps and POI with the 2011 maps.

    3) Follow the instructions of the FX3.1 Complete Firmware

  2. Have a problem. my constantly reboots every 10 seconds. i Had that happen before but i hadenough time to the bios screen and format the 2 files. and reboot to wince and replace everythin else.

But at this moment everytime i get to the bios screen, it reboots before i can copy any of the files.

does anyone have any ideas how i can fix this constant reboot. =(

  3. Today i tried to install V3.0 again WITH format and so that didnt work again either, had the exact same problem as last time, and now that i want to revert back to V2.0, i have the EXACT same problem on my 2.0, i.e. there is a "system startup" message that wont go away and this reboots itself about every 2 mins!

our system isn't bricked, just try upload 3.0 onto it, should work. i had the same problem when i put the v2.0 on it and the system startup wont go away. But then i uploaded the v3.0 on it, and it went away. :)

  4. LOL :0 didn't know about the calibration thing in window ce,

but that little keyboard at the bottom right corner,

i selected everything with my ds pen in one folder, Then I clicked control tand then click C to copy went to the other folder

click control and then V. TO paste it.

It worked for me. >< but yeah again didn't know about the calibration. NExt time i''lll do that. thanks =)

  5. thanks a bunch, my f50bt kept on rebooting, and this fixed the problem. great guide.

couple of things that took me some time to figure out, hope it saves some ppl some time.

on the bootup screen of wince i coudln't reach the edit copy, so i had to use the keyboard control C+ and control + V

to copy and paste the files.

as someone said before, don't unzip the data.zip file, just upload it.

my other mistake was puting all the files of bootloader on to the sd card, when you should have a folder directory with all the files inside it, instead of having all the files on the sdcard with no folder. (not sure if that made sense)

    =)

    thanks again.
