There are no software mods built into my data.zip. You will have to do that yourself or do the hardware mod. More than likely that is your problem. Thanks dpburst. I fixed it and it was the parking brake lead. I have another question for you. After installing the unit and all, I noticed that I no longer have the option to change the mute settings for when the navigation kicks in ie change the unit to go from full mute, to att, to disable in the "AV settings" sections. The button is greyed out. Is this part of your mod? I ask cause I want to disable to mute. Thanks.

I just bought what is supposed to be the F700 from soundfactorypro.com. The box said that it was the 7010BT. could it be just be that the 7010 is the 700 with the 2.0 software?

I may have figured out what I did wrong but would like confirmation. I did not ground out the parking brake wire. Do I still need to do that even with the software bypass built into the mod? Thanks.

Hello all. I am in the middle of installing this bad boy and decided to install your tweaks. I have a problem that I can't seem to get around. I followed the instructions for installing the mod. When I startup the unit it works fine. But when I try to go to the "settings" section the system settings and the nav settings are greyed out and I cannot access them. When I try to play a cd or the radio I get no audio. I am using external amps. Any ideas what could be going on? Is it something I did wrong with the mod install or is it my hardware install?
