Thanks for the response. So is getting the F90BT overall a smarter decision over the X-series due to the 4V preamp? Or is it not that big of a difference?

Am I reading this right? The X-series has a 2V preout as opposed to the F-series 4V preout? Is this to be considered a fairly significant difference? And why did they drop it?

I am just now looking at finally getting a nice HU in my RX-8. I have heard a ton of great things about the F90BT, but I also just saw the X series come out, but have read that an F90BT with the software update is pretty much the same thing. But then of course is the new Z sitting out there that looks amazing.

In terms of getting the best value, which is my best bet? I have been told by a few people that the F90BT would be the best 'value' pick in terms of great performance/features, but not crazy pricey either.

Oh, and a side question, do any of these units support reading ID3 tags of MP3's (not on an iPod). Reason I ask is almost all the ID3 tags in my MP3 collection are complete even with album art, and it would be cool to see that at work in my car.
