Just wanted to ask how to reinstall after i accidently used format mbr without having a backup of my files.

What i have:

- Full Backup from other user

Can you give me a guide on how to do that?

I have en EW version of the AVIC F900BT

The real hero is konik, he sent me the files, I only recompressed them with the other .DEM file an a .POI file. They were corrupt in the archives from konik and he sent me additonal archives with this two files.

I'm just compressing and uploading the files I got from konik because there were problems with 2 files in the original archives I got from him.

There are also a few modifications I don't exactly know (I think only the voice played when pressing the button). I also allready included 2 additional mods (Tap Compass to Cancel Route & Add Voice Guidance Mute Button).

 

I hope you all have a download flatrate because the files are about 1,6GB together. You can download them there. 17 files, but my upload speed is very low. So be patient, the rest will appear during ths day.

I was able to download the F700 image and extract it fine (I haven't installed my deck into my car yet, so I can't do my own backup).

 

I was following the OS Emulation tutorial in the AVICWiki and when I select "Navi", a blank window comes up with the words "NaviMain" on it and nothing else. When I click on "MainMenu" and go to "Destination", it just hangs there after I press "OK". I'm not sure if that's result of a bad image or if I've configured the emulator incorrectly.

Does anyone have a full backup of F900BT because i think mine is faulty

I have tried to restore my unit completly, and have come so that when i turn on the unit i have to press the menu button to get screen up.

But when i try to enter any of the navi og navi settings, the unit shows the warning screen wich i press OK, but then nothing happens.

The phone, AV Source and AV settings does not work also.

Do you have any pointers on what is wrong.

Restored the unit from full back up and copied over files in testmode.

Can you install the US version of F900BT on an European Unit?

Is there anyone with a backup for this unit.

My unit is brcked right now, and i could really use some help.

My own backup went with computer after a thunderstrike

I have 3.0 and it is working just fine with my F900BT unit, no problems at all

I decided to dissect the new .zip file.

 

It only contains a few new files:

WINCEIMG.BIN v6.1.7.0 -> v6.1.7.2 (The Windows CE ROM)

ezrider.exe v8.0.0.61795 -> v8.0.0.86638 (iGo v8.0)

Lang_Polish.zip (Polish language files)

SystemSetting.exe and Update.exe (no version info change), but those are compiled against the CE ROM and might be the reason why testmode does not work anymore.

 

I'll try to update the ezrider.exe later today via the testmode if it has any visible changes, which i don't expect due to the fact the release notes only say something about TMC.

I would also like to know if it possible to downgrade
