  1. OK,

Can anyone help me? I have tried this a few times but no luck.

I moved the pin over on,

I clipped the mute wire that is now in the moved pin to the Green Parking Break wire and clipped the green parking break wire to the ground.

I did not do the below but I am wandering.

Do I need to hook up the mute from my system to the mute wire I used?

What else could I be missing.

As far as I know the system resets every time I unplug it.

    HELP :(

I really want ot get this fixed.

  2. XM and Sirius are the same company but they still offer 2 seperate services and use 2 different technologies so if you want Sirius you have to get a Sirius tuner and if you want XM you have to get an XM tuner. The channels are almost identical except for the "premium" channels (i.e. NFL, NHL, NBA, Howard Stern, Martha Stewart...etc) but as mentioned above these can be added to your service with the purchase of the "Best of" packages.

I believe both interfaces are exactly the same on the pioneer unit and the costs are exactly the same.

Just to clarify on the above reply.

The XM interface is just one component and presently is a little nicer for display. The Sirius interface has the Pioneer unit and a separate Sirius interface also. I personally went with the Sirius unit so I could get NASCAR and NFL but that premium channel lineup should be the only reason you choose one over the other.

On my Chevy truck I was even able to use my existing XM antenna for my Sirius interface and it works without any problem.

  3. Hi stevecar,

You do not need the cable to play your ipone or ipod touch (2G) since you can use Bluetooth. "BUT", you loose all of the nice features of everything the iPod has. Think of the Bluetooth as an extended headset. It really does nothing but play the music through the stereo no information is displayed on the screen.

Since you are looking at getting a new tuner think about what channels you like more. NFL/NASCAR are only on Sirius and NHL/MLB are only on XM. You can pay an additional 5ish to get the "Best of" but I found it smarter to just pick what you want most.

  4. I guess the funny thing is that the manual does not even reference it. The only place that does is the news release that originally did and all of the sites have just copied and pasted the statement.

It seems like such a good feature did not get a little more focus. I know it is small feature but it is one that Pioneer has been missing.

  5. can anyone answer my question's?

is the price diff between the X910 and the Z110 worth the diff in what I see as really only 1.2 inches in display size.

and does anyone know of a way to incorp digital vehicle dynamic gauges thru either units?

Thank you for any help/opinion you can give me.

    Joe

    Hi Joe,

I started with the X910BT but was just not that impressed for the $$$$. I upgraded to the Z110BT and all I can say is WOW. It is worth the extra money. It is not the exact same functionality as the X series, in most things it is better.

One of my favorite things is the Contact List that is viewed from my phone, over Bluetooth, I don't have to transfer them and they will always be up to date. I also liked the Bluetooth Stereo.

    .

And it also ,by default, has RDS!
