LOL no kidding! I appreciate it and it would figure. Now my iphone 4 with ios5 and pandora doesnt work and my old school ipod. EFF Apple and EFF Pioneer! =(

Stupid question, I didn't read the other responses to see if someone tried this - but has anyone tried Pandoralink? The actual APP for Pioneer? I am too lazy to try it now, I guess ill try tomorrow.

so my iphone 4 works fine with the video cable I have etc... but when I use the ipod classic it tries to find it then sais it can't recognize it. I made sure the ipod 4th gen had the newest software which it does, and it works with my ipod cable for my PC but the AVIC it will not.

Any idea's?

Sounds like you have my luck. Check all the cables, etc... maybe it's something simple.

Okay so searches brought up very little as you all know. Either they are hidden and im mental and just am not putting the right things in or it's the same stuff over and over..

The one post I followed and tried was as follows:

this is all well and good, and most videos play fine. The question is not the ones that aren't playing rather the quality... I am using different sources (dvd, HD sources) etc... and they just aren't the quality one would hope for. DVD's themselves look fantastic, but the encoded ones do not. Are there any other settings folks have used for their music videos to get more out of them or am I pretty much maxed out unless I burn to DVD with authoring software?

(edit) I keep getting messages charging 20/40 for discs.. if I had mine I would be sending the copies for free + shipping.. meh not too many enthusiasts out there anymore, just profit hounds I guess. (shrugs)

Looking for the 80mt for my avic-n4... if someone would like to pm me that has a copy that actually works, I would greatly appreciate it. My ex thought it would be funny to play with some discs while I wasnt in the car and my old one hit the ground and scratched (wont work) =(

I did a search a bit but wanted to get a run down of some things here too. Used to be on here over a year ago, and completely broke off and forgot user name lol! =)

So... here we go with some retarded questions and some others that maybe others are feeling too (doubt it) though heh!

So... My model is over a year old, never done anything do it firmware wise. What "if any" firmware upgrades have been done, what have they upgraded, and where can I find the firmware?

Second.. As most everyone I have destroyed my dvd for the east coast, and I am sure there is an ISO out there.. what is the model number for the most current version? I have the red disc, so.. im sure that bad boy is out of date.

Third - fill in the blank, any information you would like to provide would be cool about the Avic N4 would be great if anything has changed.

Any cool hacks (though im searching hack board) after this..
