Have a Avic-N1, upgraded to the CNDV-80MT discs and keep getting this pop up screen in the begining. I have connected the green wire to the parking brake and just grounded the wire and still get the Caution message. I also have the issue where I have to be stopped to type in an address or watch a DVD. Has anyone disconnected the cell phone wire, placed it into the wire harness open slot and grounded the wire??? There has to be a better way besides solidering a jumper on the board. I know you can do this a the Z1.

Has anyone installed a back up camara on their AVIC system? I have a N1 and first installed the licence plate cam and now the ND-BC2 pioneer. It shows a white background as if you have extra lights on even at night See pic. You can't even see the yellow dividing lines on the driveway it is so bright. I called Pioneer and they said to replace the cam and wires. I have a 02 2500HD Silverado crew and running the wires are not the funest thing to do.

What did you end up doing. I have an N1 also and did the 80 upgrade with a gnd on the green. I don't want to really open up the unit.
