  1. I finally got around to taking the radio out and attaching the CD-IU230V in the back. Guess what, it still doesn't work! I'm using genuine Pioneer cables, attached to the rear "Audio in" cables (the original Pioneer labels are still attached). Again, the iPod interface comes up but there is NO SOUND!

PLEASE HELP!!! I'm going on a 48 hour road trip in 3 days and this is crucial!

Nevermind...I'm an idiot...AV1 was turned off in settings :) we're all good now!

  3. Is 2009.6 the newest maps for the F700BT? If not, which are, and where can I get them? Did a brief search around the forum and came up empty handed, but maybe my search-fu is lacking...

  4. OK so I need both the CD-RM10 and the CD-IU230V from what I'm reading - the CD-RM10 to attach the RCA jacks to the front panel (I paid a guy to set up my system and I don't think he hooked up any RCA stuff in the back, so I'll have to go the front route...).

    Does this seem correct?

  5. Hi all,

I have an F700BT and my friend is trying to hook up an iPod touch. We are using the USB cable attached to the USB jack on the F700BT. The iPod interface comes up normally on the F700BT and the iPod acknowledges it is connected. We can browse the iPod's library through the F700BT, but there's no sound when playing (volume all the way up).

Has anyone experienced and resolved this? Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

  6. GUYS for the last time use this improved guide!

 how many times do we have to say it? Once you use this better guide, its fairly idiot proof... or so i thought.

Way to be a jerk but your response doesn't help at all. Up to that point the directions are the same. I boot the system, enter the up up down menu left right code, select upgrade from SD (format), and this is where it hangs. So, anyone with useful/helpful information?
  7. How long should it take to go from step 6 to 7? Mine says "Read Progress 100%" but doesn't seem to advance to step 7..! Help! It's been about 15 min so far. Will I brick it if I turn it off and try again???? Please help ASAP!!!
Well I waited for about 30 min and nothing changed, so I rebooted it and it's still working at 2.0. Can anyone help me understand why it didn't work? I followed the guide perfectly:

Here's what I did: Wiped my SD card and made sure it is FAT32.

Put 2 files on it, WINCEIMG.BIN and WINCEIMG.CKS.

Followed the directions to step 6, and it just hung indefinitely. Tried a 2nd time and got the EXACT same result.

    PLEASE someone HELP!
