Any progress with getting into test mode?

Sorry to say but I'm still trying to get this unit working. So, not impressions for this time. A friend of mine is nowcopying the flash memory. Will see what is going to hapend.

Have an idea is it possible to get any satellite raio in Europe?

It is definitely better idea to have the unit repaired. Which means preinstalled. I think they will release firmware update soon. I'm still trying to get into test mode with no success.

Here http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/content/support/support/upgrade/AVIC_F900BT_F700BT.html you can find firmware update for F310. It is the same unit, I think. There aren't hardware differences in between U310 and F310 I guess. If you decide to try this EU FW write it on new SD card in order to save old one in case of something goes wrong.

I think there are some similarities between U310 and the F series. As we know U310 is known in Europe as F310. What I’m trying now is to figure out how to load European maps on it with no success so far.

My questions are may I use the same crack (zipped file) in order to make my US AVIC-U310BT GPS working in Europe. What about trying to reinstall European firmware on the original SD card? I seriously doubt for the last one, but should try...

Something else. Does the hardware of U310BT completely different compared to European F310BT? If so is it possible to have radio stations working properly? What can I do, reflash, or something else?
