I haven't used the newer units, but they seem to be just like the F700BT that I have. Here's a list of things they can do to make their units better:
* More intuitive menus - learn from Diaftia and other mods
* Responsive UI - like the one on iPhone. There shouldn't be a lag between a button press and unit's response
* Capacitive Touch Screen
* Traffic receiver - like the one that comes with Garmin units - with free traffic
* Voice Recognition - It doesn't work 90% of time. Also, when I try to call someone, the unit doesn't confirm before dialing. It just calls the name it thinks I said, which like I said is mostly wrong. I tried Ford sync and it is way better. Also, voice recognition doesn't work for media on SD card or CD. Why is that?
* Fix Bluetooth handsfree - instead of switching back to phone, my unit disconnects the call when I turn ignition off
* Allow 3rd party apps
My old DEH-P9800BT would pause the cd player and the iPod when a phone call would come in on bluetooth. I would like to see this feature added. I agree with VBLUE42... I would also like to see scrolling text.

Thanks for your help and the quick reply

I know that the manual says that you can only have 5 bluetooth devices registered and if you want more, you will have to delete one and it brings up the deletion screen.
I only have 2 devices registered and I need to delete one of them, but I can not find a way to do it.
Is it possible to do or am I going to have to waste my time and register more devices just to delete this one?
I do not want to do a system restore.

This may be an EXTREMELY stupid question...but, does the Z110 charge an IPod even when the car isn't running?

I am using the Pioneer CD-IU50V cable. It did charge the 5th gen IPod, but it is not charging my IPod Touch.

I had a 30gig 5th gen IPod hooked up to the stereo. I had to replace it, so I bought an IPod Touch 3G. It kept the old (5th gen) IPod battery constantly charged. Now, after a long period of time (working all day or asleep all night) I find that the IPod Touch battery is almost completely drained.
I want to leave the IPod connected 24/7. I don't want to disconnect it everytime I leave the car. I left the 5th gen one hooked up this way with no issues.

I just upgraded from the Pioneer SIR-PNR2 to the SCC1/CDSB10.The display does not show artist/song title/album info. It still displays one line at a time. Am I missing something? I thought read that these units would display all of that on the screen.

I have the Z100BT installed in my Toyota Solara. I have the navigation antenna mounted on the front of the dash , just below the bottom of the windshield and the Sirius antenna mounted just behind it. I have been going like this for over 2 months and haven't had a single issue with either one. They both get great signals.

My old DEH-P9800BT receiver would automatically pause the ipod or cd player when making/receiving phone calls through bluetooth, and then automatically play when the call is hung up. Does anyone know if this feature is available with the Z100BT?

I've had an iPod Touch hooked up to my Z110BT full time for about a year now with absolutely no issues.
