Show me the camera setting menu. What interface are you using. Cause that is a dodge I see. Show me the connections to radio.
I'll take some photos of next time I pull the headunit.

Stop press the timer button press the x
Pressing X will only exit out of the camera mode until the next time the car is started.

Looks like it only happens when Android Auto is plugged in. I've got a short video I will upload.

Yes now press and hold the one key on the radio to make sure it's on set to camera on at all times
Won't that *enable* camera mode at all times? That's the opposite of what I want.

Or you have the camera on the wrong trigger
Camera is wired to the reverse input from the car. Trigger was set for battery, not ground on the head unit. Is that incorrect?

When I turn my car on the head unit will enter "camera mode" with the timer and close button, this is the same mode you can select from the A/V sources and I believe it is different from the reverse camera input mode.
I have correctly wired my backup camera and it works when I reverse, but this issue is stumping me. Videos online have shown an actual camera setting for "Camera Mode" with an ON/OFF toggle but my head unit does not have this option under camera settings. I've done a factory reset and I have flashed the latest firmware but the issue still persists. I thought I could live with it, but having to hit the X button every single time I start my car is wearing on me. Has anybody encountered this?

I'm getting the "parking wire installation" error. I've grounded the parking brake wire and I've also relocated and grounded the mute wire. Am I missing something?
AVH-3400NEX always enters "Camera Mode" on boot

Took the dash apart to snap some photos. Unplugged the headunit so I could get a better photo. After I plugged everything back together I have not had the problem anymore. Very odd...no idea.
