Serious... All the links (even the ones I posted a long long time ago were on Megaupload, now that they are offline... theres no links to these files )

Just because you're not happy with the way they've handled it, or the quality of the release, that does not mean that it's ok to steal it, and that's what you're doing if you grab a torrent with no intention to buy it.

 

We all have our lines as to what we find acceptable and what we don't. Feel free to get it for free, but don't candy coat it, it's stealing, just stealing that you're ok with.

Any ideas? I am pretty stumped here ... Gonna try to update his firmware to the latest and see if that does anything but I am pretty sure its a wiring issue.

The links are Not all dead ... Ping "http://tracker.thepiratebay.org/" ... if you get replies from "127.0.0.1" that is your problem ... your ISP is blocking that site so you will need a work around.... I am going to split the file into two rar files and post them to the damn Megaupload cuz I had a hard time getting them and it makes me sad that people are having such problems because this is based on stupid torrents! (I hate torrents)

A friend got his F910 installed by a "pro" and has zero radio reception... no static, nothing. He has an Ipod hooked up, I am not sure if that is the culprit. I checked his factory antenna is plugged in (as long as the wire isnt cut or something) - The back of his unit looks to be hooked up just like my F700 that I installed in my car and a friends car (all three subarus WRX/STI's) - both of the units I installed have FM reception but both are F700s and NOT F910's like the one that wont get reception. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Dude, if you got it from someone else, seed it. It's only fair. I'll seed it for a couple weeks if someone will please seed it now.

There ARE seeds out there, the problem is that everyone's ISPs are blocking the torrent tracker websites. IF you can connect to the tracker server correctly then you SHOULD be able to see people seeding this.

Can't someone just upload this to megaupload? They allow 2 gigs for members, which is free, premium has a purchase price. I may try to upload later this evening (Tuesday) and post a link if successful since so many are having trouble with the torrents.

The torrent is not dead; I downloaded it this morning with 8 seeds and 60+ peers. Do a forum search to find the torrent file, download and run it in your favorite bittorrent client; for me, that is uTorrent.

The torrent tracker being used by most is "thepiratebay" - which it looks like many ISPs are blocking... or they have turned it off. When I pinged their tracking server, it returned pings from 127.0.0.1 ... thats not going to work. I set my tracker server like wnclivin did, to my INTERNET GATEWAY and forced a start and that seems to have worked.

After downloading and installing bittorrent, I couldn't find any seeds. So I checked my ip address and entered my value for the default gateway into the Bittorrent settings "IP/Hostname to report to tracker". Then did a "force start" and now have 13 seeds dl'ing at 644kB/s! Can't wait to use 3.0 and get rid of the laaaaaaaaaaaag

Any help on what address you used? I am in California and it appears (at least my ISP) has blocked the tracker.thepiratebay.org - when you ping it, it returned 127.0.0.1. I tried using MY gateway for my connection but still no luck. I changed the tracker to another tracker and am able to find ONE PEER but cannot connect. Any insight?
