  1. Ok so I got my Z1 installed today! Totally rocks.. Love the unit..

I got a question that could be stupid.. But I just can't find where to change this..

I got a couple of CD's that I want to rip to the Z1 and obviously the GraceNote doesn't identify it. So I want to manually type in the name of the songs.

The question here is how can I type with "CAPS LOCK" off?

All the CD's I import that GraceNote recognizes it nicely written Like This. When I try to type my own names, I only see caps. Is there a way to "uncaps" or no option for that?

  2. Sweet! I figured.. I wonder what happens internally because when I had the N3, the unit would give me a warning about the vehicle going at a certain speed and would shut off any video...

But thanks! Now I just posted a question about on where it is on my Toyota Matrix '07 on another post.. :-P

  3. I'm looking for the Speed Wire on a Toyota Matrix '07..

The website does not mention anything about the '07.. I checked the '04 Model then and there's some info.. I just don't know which one is the right one (possibly the same on the 07..)

    I see this:

VSS Wire: LOCATION 2- 4 CONNECTOR ECM- 2ND CONNECTOR LEFT TO RIGHT

    VSS Wire Color: VIOLET/WHITE

    VSS Pulse: 4000

VSS Tach Wire: LOCATION 2- (E6) 31 PIN CONNECTOR OF ECM POSITION 5

    Tach Signal Wire Color: BLACK

Now which Wire is the RIGHT ONE to connect the Z3' Speed Wire?? VSS Tach or just VSS?

Now I do see this on the bottom:

VEHICLE NOTES: BELOW GLOVEBOX 4 CONNECTOR ECM

This is the location of where I have to run the wire to, correct? My other car was all the way in the engine that's why that strucks me odd..

    Thanks in advance!

  4. So this Wednesday I'm having my Z1 installed! Can't wait.. I already swapped the wire off the Cellphone Mute to the bottom right of Connector 2 to be able to watch anything while driving...

So I have 1 question that might be stupid.. but with doing all this and all.. Do I still connect the Speed Wire or I can't connect that? I know the unit works more accurately with the Speed Wire but just wondering...

    Thanks in advance!

  5. Hello guys,

I'm new to this forum, I have just read the 12 pages worth of talk you guys have here! I just wanted to get 1 thing straight about this whole Bluetooth issue, sometimes I'd get confused on which volume exactly to change. I'm getting my Z1 tomorrow along with all these accessories! Can't wait!

So anyways, my question is: I have a Treo 700p and I'm wondering which volume control do I have to lower before I pair it with the Z1. There is regular phone volume and the ear piece volume. I assume it's the ear piece volume correct?

Do I lower it as LOW as possible, like at 0, pair the phone, and then work with the Z1 Volume? I'm assuming that the regular listening volume of the set will be untouched...

I'm think my unit will come with the update already but we'll see..

    Thanks in advance!
