Hi all.  I switched from a Samsung Note 3 to an iPhone 6 Plus last week.  Just tried it with the Pandora app on my Z120, and no dice.  I just did the map / firmware upgrade, so I am now running 5.0, and Bluetooth 3.32.  But still no luck getting the app to work with the phone.  It works fine with the "Bluetooth Audio" input, but when I switch to the Pandora app on the HU, it refuses to work.  Doesn't even show up on the iPhone output list anymore.

 

Any thoughts...  Does anyone know how to make it work?  I may just switch back to an Android phone if i can't get it figured out.  Thanks for the help!

For me, Pandora only works when plugged in; it has never worked over bluetooth.

I tried searching and couldn't find the answer. I know the NEX headunits can be updated to support CarPlay, but Iw as wondering if anyone has tried the same on a Z1xx unit.

I am interested in this as well. I have already installed my Z110bt in my 5, though w/o the VSS wire. The illumination wire is in the harness, so that one is easy. I did not connect the reverse wire.

I was able to modify the harness last night. What an enormous PITA. Will be installing everything over the weekend, so wish me luck...

OK, I installed everything on Friday and it works flawlessly, bypass and all. What an awesome head unit. I have spent only 50 miles or so in the car so far, so there is much to play with yet. Thanks to all on here for guidance re the bypass. That was invaluable.

So no joy on the install this weekend, due to the second largest snowfall in recorded history in the city of Philadelphia. I guess it will have to wait...
