  1. Does the bypass affect appmode? I have the wired bypass, Samsung S4, Samsung MHL, and the android kit from pioneer. I can't get it to work for more than 5 min before it toggles on and off. I went to Cartoys and they said the bypass might be causing the problem but they can never get appmode to work. Anyone have the any luck with it? Does it work better with iPhone? Thanks for the help.

  2. FYI I got the Kenwood dnn990hd and the sound was great the nav was awesome but the bootup time was horrible. It took at least 40 sec to bootup before you hear a sound. Then instead of showing the screen of the radio, for example, it went to the home screen. Now this might be the dnn990hd model but I didn't like. Sent it back and got a 150bh.just something to keep in mind.

  3. Found this online and I thought some of you would like to have it. It looks great when my NAV starts up. If any one could add Pioneer on the upper left hand corner and Navigation Loading... on the bottom right it would be awesome! Send it to me if you do!

  4. Is there a way to use the Bluetooth audio only with the z130 without it picking up when my phone rings ( updated from 110)? I did the audio only on the radio but it still rings when I get a call. I use my truck's Bluetooth which is lot better, But the person can't hear me because both turn on when the phone rings.

  5. The PAC supplies the reverse, VSS and the park brake wire. You might want to check out the bypass for the unit, it is worth it especially if you have kids (even if yo don't). Good luck with the install.

Few other things i didn't not like about the GMOS-100:

XM preview message on my DIC

VSS showed my truck to be 200 feet ahead of my truck

the chimes do not sound crisp

This is just some more information for others trying to find information on the GMOS-100. I could not find much when i was doing research. I have an '09 GMC Sierra, therefore if you have an older model it migh work different for you truck/car.

  6. An update to the GMOS-100. Everything worked as stated. But I did not like the way it interacted with my truck. The following interactions did not work good in my opinion. Bluetooth, backup sensor chimes, door chimes, and the turn signal was horrible. PAC IS MUCH BETTER. Just my opinion

  7. I'm sure a lot of you already know this, but when you are playing your iPod and want to change playlist or artist you can touch the ipod icon again and get the list without having to press the arrow at the bottom. Check out the pic. Sorry it is so bad, i was driving.

  8. I have an ‘09 GMC Sierra w/Onstar and right now I have an PAC-OS4. The one thing I don't like about this is I lost my backup sensor low sound. When I back up the sensors starts to beep. When I get closer and I should stop the beep gets low sounding or deep. Since I installed the PAC I lost that low sound. I have had this for a few years and it has always gotten on my nervous. I was wondering if any GMC owners have installed the GMOS-100 and how good it works. I was told by a Metra tech that this retains the chimes and it sounds through the driver side door speaker. Is it worth making the change? How do the chimes and turn signals sound? Thanks for your help. (If anyone can post a video, it would be awesome! Thanks again.)

  9. you can use the bluetooth audio stream or connect it to your ipod cable. if you use your ipod cable, start to play a any song from you ipod then start the iheartradio app. the iheartradio app will take over the audio and you will be able to listen to the app on your radio. you will continue to see the song being played on the 110 but you will hear the song from the iheartradio app. i hope this makes sense.
