No, this is still a weak spot. My old Magellan GPS had much better detail in the maps, so I don't know why these maps in the 310BT lack detail.

Just a note, have tried to zoom in,, When I zoom in I get more detail.

I would have to a take pictures, other than the ECO monitor the Navigation hase changed very little. which screens would you like to see?

i install the firmware from f310bt in u310bt and i upgrade to 1.00004

 

Did 1.00004 just come out? I thought 1.00003 was the last & latest? What does 1.00004 update?

Does the U310BT do a good job of reading from USB flash drives? ID3 tagging supported, reads and loads the files properly, etc?

I have been using the WMA format and the ID tagging working fine, just be aware that you turn off the DRM security and there is a number of folders limit on the flash drive. I believ it is 500 total folfers.

I remember reading somewhere on the internet about a limit on the number of files, folders, etc. on an USB drive.

 

I'd be interested in seeing whether or not the Avic is able to read all your files if they are placed directly on the Drive: without any folders.

I believe I read the limit to the folder count was 500( that is total count, includung subs)

Hi Kevin. You should be able to sync contacts from any phone with the proper Bluetooth implementation' date=' including almost any recent phone running Windows CE/Mobile. You can only upload locations from an iPhone using the AVIC FEEDS app.[/quote]

Thank you very much for the update, its is too bad they did not update the BT stack to include the other functions, since the unit is running on windows CE 5.0, it would have been a no brainer. I am using the AVIC for the desktop with success. I can only hope they come up with a AVIC update moble version for windows CE for our smart phones.

Purchased a new unit just before christmas, applied the firm ware update right after install, so far I have not run into any of the above issues with this update.

Is there a Windows Ce\Pocket PC version or type program of this program that does the same thing

It should give you an option to then type in the STREET name then the HOUSE NUMBER.

Is this an option I missed? I found it, you have to press on the city name to get to the street. this was really frustrating me. I have to keep playing with it
