If you hold down the vc button it puts the whole system in mute. Don't know if this was what you were looking for. There is nothing on the screen.

I just rebuilt my iPhone 3gs and this did not fix the pixelated album art. I'm a little disapointed at the poor iPhone 3gs implimentation.

I can confirm the bug. I am in the Salt Lake City, UT market.

Looks like this is a known issue with iPhone/iPod touch per vblue. I am going to restore my iPhone and resync content to see if this fixes it. Kind of a bummer that this happens.

Thanks vblue I appreciate your reply. I don't think the error is great enough for me to worry too much about. I'll just wait until 3d calibration is done. Otherwise it is pretty darn accurate and an overall great unit. Now if only I could figure out why all of my album artwork from my iPhone is all pixelated. I know this can't be normal.

Just installed the z110bt with vss, and reverse signal. Everything tests good and vss is seen. Unit is still doing 3d calibration. I notice when I go through an intersection that the map dosent show me going through it until after I am physicly through it. So it seems like it is off just a micro amount. Question is does this get better after 3d calibration is complete, or is this just the way it is? I notice there is an adjust my position option but I haven't tried using this yet. Any ideas?

Just installed the z110bt, and connected my iPhone 3g and noticed the album artwork is way pixelated. I used good res album artwork on my music. Anyone know what the deal is with this? Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for the info. The car is a 2006 VW Golf MKIV old style body. Metra doesent have a kit for my particular car that is for double din, probably because while it is a dd opening, it requires modification to the back of the radio cage. I am mostly interested to see if the trim ring from this pioneer kit actually fits the z110bt. The metra kit you listed is for MKV VW's (New body style).

New to this forum and I have seen a few threads on this but no definitive nail in the coffin. I am going to be doing an install of a Z110BT into my MkIV VW Golf. The golf has a double din hole but no mounting brackets. This kit looked like it is exactly what I need, however I wanted to check with someone who has used it with the trim ring to see if you had to do any modifications. Your car does not need to be a VW, just one where you used the trim ring. Any help / pics would be greatly appreciated. This site is what swung me away from an Alpine unit. bit
