Currently at al -eds the unit is there for 900. if you add lets says the backup camera BC4. Your total is 1100. use the coupon code pio250. Brings the price down to 850. Then you get the MIR from Pioneer for 100. Net price is 750 and you are getting the camera for free for the same price.

Again if your vendor is not an pioneer approved dealer you don't get the MIR

al eds is still good. Your cart as to be a minimum of 1000. and then use the code pio250. So people looking at the IPOD cable etc can still use this.

Yes they do. I got my rebate for the Z110BT which I brought from al eds using a coupon code. There are no issues absolutely.

The pio250 coupon is still good today.

Al eds will revoke this coupon code as some other stores have complained about the price. This is going to be on for a couple of days before they cancel this deal.

The system IMHO is a most complete package than anything out there especially at the price point of 700 dollars for the Z110BT when Pioneer was giving the 200 dollars MIR.

The audio on the 110BT, beats the stock Unit on my car by a huge huge margin ( even with stock speakers). The NAV has some kinks with regards to the map update but nothing that I cannot live with.

Thanks. The only other place I could find was Amazon for 220. Thats for 20 bucks more than Pioneer's price. Also assuming that Pioneer gives us another upgrade next year. From peoples experience can I just upgrade from 09 software to 2011 software . my maps are ok for now. Would be pretty out in 2 yrs

Are the map updated ever offered for less than MSRP? I remember someone mentioning that they are offered for less than MSRP but i can't seem to find the thread.

I agree people have been made aware of their choices. All authorized pioneer dealers sell units less than MAP. For someone who claims to do his research you haven't done enough on this topic.

Jay, I didn't mean to step on your toes. I intended to simply present an alternative viewpoint and I thought I made sure to point out that I didn't think your viewpoint was bad. However, you come across very negatively almost like you are looking down your nose at folks that think differently than you.

I don't want to get into a pissing contest with anyone however I stand by what I said. You did mention in your post, that dealers selling at less than MAP would no longer be Pioneer dealers for long. If you had done your research better before making that statement you would have found every single dealer of Pioneer offering prices less than MAP for a long time eg 6ave, cartoys etc. I was referring to that statement when I said that you haven't done your research.

I came across this great deal and I posted. Guests and forum members can decide for themselves the pros and cons of buying on ebay or from a dealer. I know my reasons for going with an authorized dealer.

1) No hassle return policy.

2) Great price ( 20 dollars more than the ebay price)

3) No hassle warranty from Pioneer.

4) Great support from my dealer.

5) New unit. No doubts about tampering / fraud etc

So for less than $20 more one of the sellers has a feedback history back to 2004 and they offer to honor the 1 year warranty. With that large of a feedback rating going back 6 years, I'm not too worried about the vanishing. If it does go out in the first year then they take care of it... I think $70 for 4 more years of warranty is definitely worth it... $1150 including 5 years of coverage.... hmm.

Everyone one has the right to decide what works for them. The fact remains that buying from an ebay store or un-authorized stores voids warranty from Pioneer.

If I can buy additional warranty for 70 dollars then for 1170 I will have 6 years for warranty , 1 from Pioneer and 5 years from the other source. I think the additional 20 dollars is well worth it.

All of the pioneer's authorized dealers have been around for much longer than 2004 and have established car audio business with a huge customer base.

There have been some very smart / cheeky ebay dealers who brought a bunch of Z110BT from al-eds when Pioneer had the 200 dollar mail in rebate on those units. Used multiple addresses to collect the rebates and are now selling the units on ebay for a profit of 100 dollars.

As always the age old adage holds good Buyers beware.

980 odd dollars is a good proce. Pioneer still won't fix the unit. It would have to fixed by someone else

Not a problem. Its for everyone to use. I would suggest that you provide a link to this thread in your post rather than providing the coupon code. If anything changes i would be updating this thread. Would be easier for everyone and would cause less confusion.
