Go to your input settings, and check AV1, you can specify that its an iPod input, not a Backup Cam.

As it is now, I'm downloading the update on the Pioneer website so that I can at least get some function on my NAV. I've accessed the menu via the instructions, but the Nav Unit does not find the FX3.1 File. I'm to the point now that if I can at least get my HU to work again that is a million dollars in my book.

The latest update from Pioneer is 2.XX Something. Unless you pay ~$150 and buy the 3.XX update.

The update included in this posted release is 3.02001, the newest version, aswell as new maps and select mods.

Theres no need for downloading anything through Pioneer for this release.

So, I finally got around to trying this upgrade and I got to the WINMCE upgrade or what ever, got to the part where it says reset unit and leave card inside, should boot test mode.

 

Unfortunately not I cant get my device to boot anything. i get the pioneer screen then it goes black, with or without the sd card. any advise?

 

EDIT - I can't even get back into the WINMCE thingy, it crashes to.

 

EDIT 2 - Can't boot any test mode either.

So, managed to figure it out. not sure how it happened just sorta got caught playing with old version of wince and new version of wince.

Next thing i knew it was working.

Any one have questions let me know.

So, I have an F900BT, and on the Source page it lists 2 AV inputs.

I have the iPod connection already installed and I want to add a second AV (RCA) connection (iPod Video cable for SlingPlayer Mobile)

Just wondering if there are actually 2 places to plug in RCA connections, if so, what is it labelled as? If not, do any of you know of a way?

What about using the Rear View Camera input or something? any ideas?

Found this:

how to put the theme on your unit.

01) make sure you are willing to put this on your unit and you are doing this AT YOUR OWN RISK.

02) make sure you have a complete back-up of your unit before starting this mod.

03) copy the 3 folders to a FRESHLY FORMATTED SD CARD ~ APL, APL2 & testmode

04) put the sd card into your unit and start your car/power your unit

05) windows CE will boot up.

06) double click on MY DEVICE

07) Double click on STORAGE CARD

08) COPY and PASTE the folder APL close folder

09) double click on MY DEVICE

10) double click on MY FLASH DISK

11) click EDIT & PASTE

12) once everything is copied to your unit. turn your car off and eject your SD card after the unit is off

13) enjoy!!!!!
